Analysis
Having recognised that Tsunade’s healing jutsu was filled with killing intent, Kabuto realised that she had no intention of helping Orochimaru. Kabuto interfered with Tsunade’s healing jutsu because Tsunade was planning to kill Orochimaru. The reason why he noticed the change in chakra is that Kabuto used to be a medical ninja; hence, he knew Tsunade was building up the chakra to kill Orochimaru. As a result, sad piano music plays in the background when Tsunade reminisces about her dead brother and lover. Due to her memories, she came back to her senses because she realised why they sacrificed their lives. It was for the sake of Hidden Leaf Village. Moreover, she made the right decision because Naruto reminded her of the people she cared about, Nawaki and Dan. Therefore, Naruto plays an important part in this episode because he is one of the reasons why Tsunade has come to her senses.

Therefore, there is a lot of action in this episode.
This was a fight between two skilled medical ninjas. The way they fought against each other was very different from a fight between normal ninjas. For instance, medical ninjas know the human body and where exactly to hit its points of weakness, e.g., the heart, leg, hands, etc. So, it is similar to the Hyuga clan, who hit the chakra points. However, it’s different from the Hyuga clan because it doesn’t require taijutsu that much, but rather ninjutsu; hence, one can see the chakra when Tsunade and Kabuto battle against each other; hence, this fight between medical ninjas is more unique. For example, when Tsunade hit the point of weakness in Kabuto’s body, his movements did the opposite. When he tried to move his hand, it was his leg that moved instead. This is why Wikipedia stated, “Tsunade has far more battle experience than Kabuto.”
Despite being far more experienced than Kabuto, he figured out how to manage his movements as he also hit Tsunade using the chakra. Therefore, Tsunade is in danger until Naruto, Jiraiya, and Tsunade’s assistant, Shizune, arrive to help.
Uninterested in their assistance, Tsunade tries to resume her battle with Kabuto until he learns of her Hemophobia and uses it against her. As she is taken aside to recover, Naruto and Shizune both launch attacks at Kabuto, which he defeats. Finally, Jiraiya states that he and Shizune must team up to take on Orochimaru and Kabuto, respectively. Kabuto used Tsunade’s Hemophobia against her. The reason she is afraid of blood is due to the deaths of her brother Nawaki and her lover Dan, which have affected her emotionally. This is why she isn’t able to fight anymore. As she is taken aside to recover, Naruto and Shizune launch attacks against Kabuto. However, Kabuto defeats Naruto and Shizune, which proves that Kabuto is a very skilled shinobi; hence, it’s not going to be easy to defeat him.
Finally, Jiraiya states that he and Shizune must team up to take on Orochimaru and Kabuto, respectively. Therefore, in the next episode, there is going to be a battle between two legendary sannin, Orochimaru and Jiraiya, and a battle between Shizune and Kabuto. However, what is going to be Naruto’s role in the next episode? Is he going to be part of a battle as well? All of these questions we have in our minds are one of the reasons why there is suspense. It encourages one to watch the next episode.
The lesson from this episode is that sometimes, when we are about to make a decision, we should remember who we are as people, just like Tsunade. Tsunade remembered who she was, which is the type of person who cares about the Hidden Leaf Village; hence, she decided not to help Orochimaru.
