Feeling abled and better than most

Chasing, grasping and conquering

Enjoying the tides without restraint

Not knowing that even high mountains flatten

That the mighty waves foam but only reach far

And the blooming flowers eventually wilt

Then realizing all was just but a shadow

A chasing after the wind that can’t be caught

Like wasted time that cannot be relived
