We have no respect for plants so we study them, grow them and feast on their harvest. We have little respect for animals so we cage them, raise them and love them as possessions. Respected enough to be loved and fed, to be studied through women studies, to be told how to behave through religious scriptures, to be explored through their natural harmonal cycles. The more attention women recieve the more proof of little respect they are offered. Like rats in a lab, pampered or massacred depending on the bigger picture. What brings about weakness may be the existence of the stronger. Their relative overpowerement makes us weak. Feeble to their decisions and subject to their desires. Man is not good or bad by nature. He has just built a beneficial hierarichal structure to maintain long term dominance. Misogyny is not just hate, it is disrespect, low regard and generally the way men look down on us. Dependence on them strengthens these beliefs, it confirms their application and assures them they're right to own us. For as long as we enable others to step on us, they will believe we enjoy being stepped on. Man is not good or bad by nature but he is definitely ignorant at birth and unable to develop an independent moral compass free from social intervention and control.
