I never had a home; I just had a brother.

We weren't related, but we were family.

My mom was always high and never had just one spot;

She'd be gone for days.

I used to have a dad who just kicked my ass and was always drunk.

Beat me black and blue, so bad I couldn't go to school.

I just dropped out; I could never follow the rules.

Always in and out of trouble.

It came so easily.

Juvenile hall was my second home.

I found the streets, or they found me.

Joining a gang was the only way to survive.

I had to prove to my brother I was worth something.

I had to shoot a guy just for trying me.

I was so young; I could barely pull the trigger.

The feeling of power was better than any drug.

As time went on, I got tougher and tougher.

I still got my ass kicked, but never in a gunfight.

Blood on the pavement, a price to pay,

To wear the colors, I’m here to stay—Los Angeles!

Scarlett oath, I’m bound in blood.

I never back down in a fight.

Shoot now, ask questions later!

These are our streets.

Loyalty forged in fist and gun battles for turf.

In this life of danger, I’ll never fade.

I'll stay true to the grave!

Eyes on my gun and on the prize.

In the underworld of Saticoy Street, I’m never alone.

A band of brothers, we run together.

Rituals of pain, a gallon of blood spilled; we're here to win it.

Gotta show my colors and face the fear.

In the heart of Los Angeles, I’ll persevere.

With every scar, I wear my pride.

In the name of the Syndicate, I’ll never hide.

Brothers in blood,

Your funeral in the street.

In the silence, hear the call from birth.

There’s gotta be a better way.

Stand together; we’ll never fall—a house together.

Through the fire, only the strongest survive.

In the end, you’re either dead or alive; take your pick.

Gotta prove my worth and show the Syndicate

Split skulls and shot a few; never shed a tear.
