The air in the room grew thick, too heavy to even breathe. Emery stared at the screen, holding in tears. Cassian stared at the screen as well, frozen. He didn't know what to say, what to do. But he did know who this letter was for, and it was someone who would hurt Emery even in the slightest way possible. He wasn't ready to give her that truth yet, he couldn't.
