Kaelix and Zeal are out bridal shopping today. They’ve got reservations for a couple places, and their first stop was the bridal store.10Please respect copyright.PENANAdNbjEZ7UTD
“Is there something the two of you have in mind?”
“Not much, but I’d prefer something with bits of gold, and him-“ Kaelix gestures at Zeal “With bits of dark green.”
“Is there a reason for the colors?” The clerk asks.
“It’s something representing us. Also, we like the colors.” Kaelix replied with a smile.
“Ah, I see. Would you be interested if in suits that have both green and gold?” The clerk offered.
“That would be amazing, actually! Thank you!”
“I think I have something that suits the both of you. Please, follow me.”10Please respect copyright.PENANAppVL3x1Lhe
The clerk lead them through rows and rows of wedding dresses and suits, stopping in front of a showcase. Two suits were displayed next to each other, one black one white. The black one had a white dress shirt, dark grey waist coat, and a green tie. There were green lining on the cuffs of the jacket and the collar of the dress shirt. A gold leaf design crawls on the left lapels. The white one mirrored the black, but with the colors flipped. Dark grey dress shirt, pale grey waist coat, gold tie. Gold lining on the same locations, the leaf design was green. They were so fitting Kaelix could hear the suits screaming their names.10Please respect copyright.PENANA5EW1p9GSev
“These.” Kaelix muttered.
“Hmm? What was that, Kaelix?”
“These. They’re the ones, I know it.”
“Do you want to try them on?” The clerk asked.
“Yes, please.”10Please respect copyright.PENANAAChR35IN61
Kaelix put on the white one and Zeal took the black. As they stood in front of the mirror, side by side, Kaelix held his breath in awe. The suits were just as, no, even more perfect than what he had envisioned. At that moment, he couldn’t picture them in anything else. They were the ones.10Please respect copyright.PENANAuJJ71BXLB7
“They’re perfect. We’ll take them.” Kaelix told the clerk as they walked out, suits in hand. The clerk takes them from their hands.
“Great! Then we just need to do some measurements to adjust these suits to a tailored fit.”
“I’ll go first. Kaelix, you can go look around and see if there’s anything else you’d like.” With that, Zeal turned and followed the clerk to the tailor’s room.10Please respect copyright.PENANAm5DVDmlcpk
Kaelix looked around the room as the tailor was getting Zeal’s measurements done. In his peripheral view, a glimpse of white caught his attention. He decided to play a little prank on the bartender, a petty revenge for all the teasing he’s done over the years.10Please respect copyright.PENANAWgIu00pMdA
Zeal sat on the couch as they were doing Kaelix’s measurements, checking the time and location of their next stop. All of a sudden, a semi-transparent white cloth landed on Zeal’s head, clouding his vision. He looked up to see the culprit grinning at him.10Please respect copyright.PENANAQnlx2c9wnt
“You look good in a veil, Mr. Ginjoka.” Kaelix was proud, a little too proud if Zeal has to say.10Please respect copyright.PENANAWEBuWfoRJt
Zeal chuckled as he took the veil off and rose from the couch. He’s decided that this little bouncer of his needed to be put in his place. The sudden movement made Kaelix freeze, he knew that mischievous glint in Zeal’s eyes all too well. Which Zeal took the opportunity and laid the veil onto Kaelix’s head, tugging on it with a force to bring Kaelix’s face closer, light enough to not tear the fragile fabric. Their faces so close they could’ve leaned in to share a kiss if they wanted to.10Please respect copyright.PENANAnMsKrG8rMR
“Not as good as you do, my darling fiancé.” Zeal spoke with his deep voice, with the pet name in a softer, almost hushed, tone.10Please respect copyright.PENANASHbIdAgy1k
Kaelix blushed, three years, and he still hasn’t gotten used to the fact how attractive Zeal was. Especially in that voice, it had the power to make him swoon.10Please respect copyright.PENANAFMuQqq7qTF
“Might as well wear it on the big day, hmm?” Zeal teased.
“Zeal!” Kaelix shrieked, flushing even more “People are watching!”
“We won’t be the first, nor the last anyways. I believe that they’ve seen quite plenty.”
“Besides-“ Zeal pauses to look around the room. He could catch the clerks stealing glances their way, curious or excited, even if they were trying hard to hide them.
“These people seem to enjoy the show.” Zeal’s voice was low, a whisper.
“But still!”
“Then you should’ve seen this coming, hmm?”
“…”
“Kaelix?”
“You’re sick, you know that? Mr. Ginjoka? You’re a sick, sick man.” In which Zeal responded with a laugh.10Please respect copyright.PENANAPGNie0DUF7
Teasing Kaelix would never get old.10Please respect copyright.PENANAXPi2LoKyl6
“Well then, since you like the veil so much, might as well buy it.”
“No!” Kaelix took the veil and ran off to put it back where it came from, his face bright red.
As Kaelix was out of sight, Zeal approached one of the clerks.
“Sorry for the fuss, but could you include that veil in the order? And keep it a secret from my fiancé for me, please.”
