After the woman stepped back, Lain, couldn’t help but marvel again at the beauty of these carriages, and the monstrous beasts that pulled each and every one of them. After thanking her, he then turned back, towards the gates, as the bored Emily and Elena began walking forward.

The bored Elena couldn’t help but urge Emily forward, as she was starting to get tired, as the peaceful night sky made her very drowsy. The guards at the entrance, could only allow them to pass by.

Seing Elena, and Emily start walking through the opened gates, Lain, and Hui Shi, could only move forward in order to catch up. But as Lain was walking forward, he was stopped by the guards, one of them then said in a serious tone. “We must ask you a couple of questions before you can enter Yearning Peace City, as a newcomer. You must also have a license to carry a weapon in this city, unless you're a hero.” As he pointed to the curved, green, bamboo blade that was harnessed at Lain’s waist.

Hearing this, Elena, Emily, and Hui Shi could only stop and turn around, in guilt, as they had forgotten about Lain, who had never visited the city before.
