Obsidian was walking in a cold, dark cave. Where am I? Am I dreaming? Was I kidnapped? All those questions were swirling around Obsidian’s head. Last she remembered, she fell asleep in the hollow with Sherbert and Snow curled up beside her. She had woken up in this cave alone.
Obsidian looked at the walls of the cave. She saw cave drawings, ancient ones. The drawings depicted lots of fighting and dying cats, as well as the ‘Darkness’ figure sitting on a gold throne. Her eyes drifted to the back of the cave. Another cat, one with a hood on, was standing behind her.
The other cat took off its hood, revealing what looked like a reflection of Obsidian’s face. Obsidian just stared into the other cats face, trying to make sense out of all of this.
“You are dreaming, Obsidian.” The other cat whispered in an icy tone.
I am? Well that is a relief. Obsidian thought.
“But there is no hiding from me.” The cat continued in the same tone. “When I find you and your friends, you will face your end.”
“Who are you?” Obsidian asked in a whisper.
“I am the cat you should fear most, Obsidian.” The cat responded in the same, icy tone.
“And that is who?” Obsidian asked.
“The cat you dreamed about last night, Obsidian.” The cat replied.
Last night. Before Snow came to get us. Obsidian thought. This cat must be Darkness, it must.
“There is one thing you can do to save yourself and your friends, Obsidian.” The cat continued. “Join me and my little spy, and you will be powerful!”
“Never!” Obsidian responded. “I have a prophecy to fulfill, for heck’s sake!”
Obsidian felt all four of her paws pounding out of the cave, Darkness chasing close behind. She felt a great pain in the back of her head, and she then woke up.
Sherbert was curled up beside Obsidian, still snoozing. Snow was sitting outside the hollow with a small cloth sack. Obsidian carefully got up and sat next to Snow.
“What do you have in the bag?” Obsidian asked in a mumble.
“Some berries we can eat for breakfast.” Snow responded coolly.
“Should we wait for Mr.Sleepy to wake up or should we eat them now?” Obsidian asked.
“I can go wake up Sherbert.” Snow responded.
A few seconds later, Snow and Sherbert came walking out of the hollow. Sherbert was clearly annoyed by being woken up instead of waking up on his own.
“What is for breakfast.” Groaned Sherbert.
“Let’s see… I got berries, bacon, sausage, and pancakes.” Snow responded.
“Great!” Sherbert replied.
“Let’s eat!” Snow responded.
Snow pulled out many different breakfast foods. The three cats picked their foods of choice and ate.430Please respect copyright.PENANA1CaG6fB7Mz

After the cats finished eating, they set off to look for the answers Obsidian wanted so badly.
“Looking at the map.. we should go… this way to get to the mountains.” Snow claimed.
“What about the lake?” Sherbert asked as he pointed at the map.
“We can go there later.” Snow replied.
“Okay.” Sherbert responded.
“To the mountains!” Snow shouted.
The three cats started walking northwest, towards the mountain range. The mountains really were not mountains, they were very large hills. But they still had caves somehow. How? Nobody knows.430Please respect copyright.PENANAXDcF7OicBD

Eventually, the cats could walk no more. They had walked their paws off, and still had a few miles until they reached the nearest ‘mountain’. The three cats squeezed together in a rabbit hole and went to sleep.430Please respect copyright.PENANAQOrcAt8XVf

Obsidian felt herself waking up. When she awoke, however, there was no rabbit hole surrounding her. The other cats were also nowhere in sight. Instead, she was surrounded with blue light, it was beautiful. Obsidian found herself stepping closer to the light.
Suddenly, the same white cat that gave her the prophecy appeared. This time, it was not transparent.
“Who are you?” Obsidian asked in a whisper.
“Have you not heard of me? Kira’s sister?” The cat responded.
“But how is this possible? You’re dead!” Obsidian asked.
“I thought you knew.” Marshmallow responded.
“Knew what?” Obsidian asked in a mumble.
“You’re having a vision, Obsidian.” Marshmallow replied.
“Then what is it?” Obsidian asked in a whisper.
“Beware of the dark, Obsidian. It could be your end.” Marshmallow replies in a wise tone as she faded away.
“Wait! Don’t go! What do you mean?” Obsidian asked.
Then, Obsidian’s vision faded.430Please respect copyright.PENANAN9GQVDtBtr
