My sister recently told us about a guy she’s been talking to for a while, and now they’re bf and gf. Of course I’m happy for her, she’s my sister. But that brings up the subject of having a bf with my parents. My mom literally said “this is why we don’t have boyfriends, they cause a lot of drama….” In that kinda joking tone, but she still said it.

So that got me thinking, can you just completely ignore your romantic feelings? Is it better in the long run to just not do anything about how you feel for someone?
