“Oh look at the cute couple” Brutus scoffed, looking at his little sister Aliza giggling as she was being mauled by her brand new puppy Lucky.
‘He's only named that because Aliza happened to be eating Lucky Charms the day we were given that mangy mutt. Everything about that dog just happens to be a coincidence, from his green collar that she told his parents to give to the lucky cause of saint patrick's day. The same day in fact Brutus was broken up with his girlfriend.
Once he showed the mutt to her, she responded that only “Brokeys own mutts” and that she “ain't gonna date no brokey” so she broke up with him over text. That one dog broke Brutus’ strongest relationship he ever kept. When his mother and father tried to help him, they said the same stuff over and over. Mom always stated that Brutus shouldn’t be so upset because they only dated a month and plus she only loved him for the money. While Dad told Brutus it would be better for him to not doddle on stupid things such as love and work more towards his studies.
‘But they were wrong’, Brutus thought, ‘they were sooo sooo wrong, she loved him for him, I mean why else would someone date the football team's towel boy? For money? Sure they went to a private school and stuff but that doesn't mean he had money.’
‘Noo, nooo it's that stupid dog's fault’ Brutus thought as he looked towards the dog with nothing but the purest of anger. ‘If only that dog didn't exist. If only that dog never came into our lives, I would still be with his girlfriend and Aliza wouldn't be happy.’ That's when Brutus thought of a truly horrible plan to not only rain on Aliza’s parade but also win his girl's love back.

‘Oh mannn, what a big house’ Lucky thought, the first time he was brought into his new home. He did try to vocally convey his emotions with a quick yip and a wag of his tail but the bigger of the two young boys always hit him when he did. He didn't like the oldest and quickly learned after hearing the lanky man and him talk on his bed that ‘his name was Brutus, or was it Bukus?’ Lucky didn't know because those names were thrown around alot when the big one cried.
What Lucky did know is that he loved the younger of the two. Her name was Aliza, the kid who taught Lucky how to sit, how to shake a hand like a gentleman, as Aliza put it, and most importantly, gave him his name. Lucky always stayed near Aliza and hated when he had to leave but Aliza told him she had to go off and fight the bad guys. The main bad guy was known as school but sometimes it followed her home and that's called homework.
Aliza seemed to live such a dangerous life that Lucky never understood how she could always come back with a smile on her face. After the battle of school commenced, it was always Brutus that came home first so Lucky always hid behind the couch because Brutus never liked seeing him.
Today was different however, besides them coming home about the same order they always did, Lucky looked up at the kitchen fridge to find that the days previous were crossed off on the calendar. The calendar being located right above where Lucky one time jumped in and ate a yummy milk called iced cream. It showed that today was “Tues” and that tomorrow was “Wed”. Which means that tomorrow is park day where Lucky, Aliza and the lanky man go to a giant green field with a fence around it and Lucky meets a bunch of friends.
Lucky loved the park, but kept his excitement to a minimum as he walked out of the kitchen. So Lucky walked around and found that Brutus was looking into his palms and Aliza was watching TV, which Lucky quickly jumped onto her to keep her defence up against the evil School.
This is when Brutus spoke up and offered something that Lucky never heard him say. “Wanna go for a walk to the park boy?” Lucky jumped up at this though warily wagging his tail as this may just be another tease from Brutus than a genuine offer.
“Uhh, that’s not till tomorrow Brutus, but me and Lucky are glad you are finally wanting to come with.” Lucky yipped in agreement, gaining some love from Aliza as he did.
“Well, why don't I take him for the day and to get a uh…” Brutus thought for an uncomfortably long time.
“Feel for this place, I wanna see if these dogs are good enough for our little Lucky” Aliza looked confused for a moment before looking down at Lucky who seemed to yip at the excitement of going to the park early. ‘Can anyone truely say no to a cute face like that?’ Aliza thought.
“Fine, but only if you get mom and dad’s permission first.” Aliza said, holding Lucky and putting him into Brutus's lap which Lucky tried to jump out of but Brutus’s sudden grip held true.

Hearing this, Brutus held his phone up to his ear and pretended to call mom and dad and after a few yes and no’s he looked down at Aliza as if he was looking around and gave her a thumbs up. He secured his dubious lie with one final “I promise” and pretended to hang up the phone.
“Yep, so mom and dad told me that I can take Lucky and that you have to go upstairs annnddd do your homework” Aliza looked at Brutus with a mixture of shock and apaul.
“But I have my homework done though?” Aliza thought as she was always a star student. Taking after her father who she admired because he was a doctor. Aliza then realized that it may be another test into finding out what was in the basement so she sped up her room before stopping midway up the stairs.
“WAIT!!!” Aliza then ran down stairs and kissed Lucky on the forehead.
“I love you Lucky, tell me about the park when you get back ok?”
Lucky yipped at this, though his tail never wagged when he did.

Lucky found himself in the back of the big shiny red box but instead of his normal seat on Aliza’s lap, he found himself in the back seats laying down on a dirty blanket. He did try and run to the front and sit on Brutus’ lap, but was pushed back and into the back seats. Lucky then yipped at Brutus, because Brutus wants to play and afterwords get a bowl out of the back of the red box and eat yummy kibble. While Lucky thought of what flavors the kibble was this time around, the ground shook which made Lucky brace. Brutus then walked out of the car and walked outside, Lucky then rushed to the window hoping to see green meadows surrounded by walls that held all his friends.
Instead, Lucky found a similar green meadow but no walls, just trees, very tall grass, and a small divot that separated the field and road. Lucky then rushed to the other window facing the road as Brutus opened the door and saw a silver rounded rectangle held by a metal pole, it was located on the other side of the road which dipped down as the grass took over.

“This damn dog,” Brutus thought as it ran away from him and looked out the other window.
‘What's wrong “buddy?” Does your precious park not look familiar? Good cause it shouldn't’. As Brutus thought this, he grabbed Lucky by the tail and pulled him towards him.

Lucky's back suddenly started to hurt, it stung at first, but then it started to pull him backwards. Lucky started reaching and grabbing for everything, but his claws were recently trimmed by the mother character so it did no good. Lucky swung left and right as he was being pulled more and more. ‘It must be Homework’ Lucky thought as he swiftly turned around and bit at the school made intruder. Instead it was Brutus.

Brutus screamed a bad word then flung Lucky out of the van and into a ditch. Looking down at the dog as it whined and crunched under its own self, its whimpering almost made Brutus feel bad. But not quite. As Brutus walked towards the driver's seat he heard poor little Lucky yipping and barking at him, trying to escape as he did. Brutus closed the drivers door and started the ignition, hearing the barking in front of him then soon behind him as he drove away.

Lucky looked up towards Brutus, knowing who just threw him down this angled hole.
“Why would you do that?” He yipped.
“Aliza will kill you for this” He yapped. Until he heard a grueling angry sound and the now gigantic red rectangle started to shake in rage.
“Please wait for me!!!” Lucky whines.
“Don't leave me out here!!” Lucky dashed out of the ditch in front of the car.
‘He must see me, he will stop’ Lucky thought valiantly but Brutus didn’t see him.

When Brutus returned home he hoped to dodge the obvious question of Lucky's wearabouts, not wanting to admit he may or may not have ran him over with the family's minivan but he kept his chill.
The problem was Aliza, who heard him enter the house and made a mad dash down the stairs, past Brutus and into the minivan. It took about 1 can of soda, extra shaky from nerves for Aliza to come back inside with a worried look on her face. The person who received it was worse, because it wasn't Brutus. It was their mother.
It took about five words out of Aliza’s stupid little mouth that got Brutus sitting at the dinner table with his mother on his left, father on the right, and a still sniffling from hours of crying from Aliza across from him. The table had two entres of sadness, disappointment and intrigue for dessert, the sides were silence coupled with the occasional sniffle from Aliza. That was before the main course started and his mother spoke up.

It was like a instant, Lucky remembered the days. He remembered his mother who he drank milk from, his brothers and sisters who always climbed on top of him or tackled him, after reminiscing Lucky swears he could see them down the road in a fog. The giant metal box stopping short and the whole world seemed to be still for a moment as a hazy white fog enveloped his surroundings.
Lucky saw his sister, just skin and bones with old drool at the edges of her mouth. He saw his three brothers, all resting nearby, needles put into their backs as they rested as to not feel pain or fear. Finally Lucky saw the strangest thing of all, a giant dog, looked a little like his brothers and sisters but with their mothers reflection. With him, he stared at Lucky, shaking in a mix of rage and fear, foam coming from his mouth and a hole for a wound bleeding profusely out of his head.
Lucky couldn't look away from the end of the road, it scared him, all of it did. His sister and three brothers, the giant dog. He wondered where his two other brothers and other sister were, but hoped they were doing better. At least they would be. Lucky looked on, the shaking dog beckoning for him to join them down a road with no end. As Lucky was about to join them, convinced by the saddened look on their faces, he thought of Aliza, and how she smiled.
How she would always sneak him a few bites of pancakes or that green stuff which she always imitated eating when the mother and father figure looked away. Lucky thought of her in that moment and looked around as the world slowly sped up once again. A giant black part of the car rumbling towards him as he used his back paws to jump forward instead of away. The following cracking of bones ended up making Lucky yelp in pain.

“No!! Ewww, what the hell is wrong with you??? No I won't go on another date you freaking psycho, you killed your little sister's dog. I want a man with a heart, not a brokey towel boy who's giving Jeffery Epstein!!!! Never call this again and never talk to me again, towel boy” That was Brutus’ girlfriend who just hung up the phone on him, causing him to slam his phone against the table and crack on the corners.
‘What am I doing wrong??’ Brutus thought, anger pushing his body in place of blood.
‘So she doesn't wanna date a guy with a mutt, so instead I get rid of the dog.’ Brutus could have sworn his plan would have worked.. How come when he found a problem and solved it, it created more problems? In the history classes he took that never happened to anyone else.
“I may just be unlucky.” Brutus said aloud, looking out his window at the mini vans tire which looked like it held a little red spot on the bottom of the tire, or it could just be his eyes tag teaming with guilt playing tricks on him.
‘I mean sure I may have ran it over three miles from the house and most likely killed it but who cares. It's just a stupid mutt.’ Brutus pondered, realising his error he felt sadness for a moment before blocking it with something fun instead.
‘Heh, Lucky, well I guess he isn't very lucky anymore’ With that final thought he heard his newly cracked phone vibrate as his friend rang him on Instagram.
“Yeah bro, what's up?” His friend requested they play some games.
“Yeah bro, I need something to ease the mind, lemme get on in a second and I'll join your party” With that Brutus forgot all about his actions and Lucky's fate, like a fly on a wall and put on his headset to game.

Lucky can’t say he ever felt this amount of pain or really if he was feeling any at all. After seeing the vehicle drive over him he felt relief that he made it but when it turned slightly and ran over his tail his relief turned to pain very quickly.
After getting out of the road, every swish of his tail being another yelp of pain, he tucked down into a ditch to hide and whimpered for a few minutes. After which of many many many unsuccessful licks to heal his tail, he looked around to see his surroundings. He found the grey metal sign from before had turned a brighter grey that read. Kinetics City, Exit 33. Though Lucky didn’t understand it was the direction of his home, he saw that was where Brutus had driven towards and decided to painstakingly try and follow with his memory being his only map home.
Lucky walked for a couple of hours, watching the roads and its vehicles as he went, it wasn't long before he met another animal on his journey or maybe a lot of them. Lucky didn’t know if they were friend or foe, so when he saw them, he yelled up at them spooking three but the rest stayed perched.
“Hey!!!!, Hey!!!!” Lucky called looking up towards the strange creatures. They had feet as skinny as waffles, but claws much like Lucky's own. Their bodies were fat in size but skinny in weight. Their arms were massive, each being the size of Lucky but only because they stretched from appendage to appendage. Their defining looks from normal birds he seen from the park being their size and piece of red skin that fell off their beak.
“I know you can hear me!!!!!! Your friends gave you away. Ow!” The birds looked down at Lucky, each scanning every section to find something Lucky didn't much understand but shrugged it off as a bird thing.
“So”
“What?”
“If”
“We”
“Can?” The birds muttered in unison, confusing Lucky as to how they knew what the others were going to say. At once they all started to laugh into the sky as if it was the funniest joke in the world.
“We're just messing with you pup, we can hear you, so what do you need help with? Ooh maybe you would like every piece of kibble in the world, wouldn't that be nice?” The first bird of the bunch said, interrupting itself as it looked down at Lucky inquisitively.
“Well first off, what exactly are you?” Lucky asked, licking his tail which pained with every stroke.
“Well, we're crows, and good looking ones too.” The second bird ‘crow’ stated, its head held higher than any of the others.
“Oh ok, well do you know where to get hom-” Lucky’s stomach interrupted him as it growled, he is missing his evening meal as the sun slowly goes down nearby.
“Listen to his stomach, the poor pup needs food, man I need some too, some food sounds all too good” The third crow sang, it was the fattest of the crows and yet it was hungry, just like Lucky. Well, Lucky can’t look for his family on an empty stomach so he first needed food.
“Well, do you guys have any food or kibble to share?” Lucky pondered, though he didn't think birds like these would have any pancakes like Aliza.
“Maybe we do and maybe we don't, not like we would give any to you anyway.” The fourth crow said, having such an attitude it made sense why he had a scar at his eye.
“Oh, well that's ok, we can share if I find some at least” Lucky stated, starting on his walk before the fifth crow swooped down at him and landed a few inches away, the claw almost catching Lucky's ear.
“Awww I need Need NEED!!!! This little pup as my own” The fifth and final crow stated, looking up at her other brothers and fluttering her eyes. She was the best well kept of the crows, not a tattered feather in sight.
“Can we keep him pleassseeee?” Crow five begged, petting Lucky with her head which he enjoyed. Garchu.
“No!!! He probably has fleas and smells bad too.” Crow four stated, before getting pecked at.
“What was that for??”
“You needed to be put in your place and besides, we could get so much out of this pup, think of when it grows?? What we would have then?” Crow one stated, Lucky thought about it and understood they would have a grown up dog as a best friend who can get them food.
“Hehe yeah not bad, more food to be had.” Crow number three stated musically almost as if he read Lucky's mind.
“As long as I get the biggest bite I don't mind” Crow number two stated. This crow is really full of himself.
“Alright it's settled then.” Crow number one stated before turning to look at Lucky.
“You must stay under our post, to heal your tail and at night, you will hunt for your food.” Crow number one decreed, which had Lucky's battered and broken tail start to wag, but the agony on his back stopped his wagging swiftly.
“Thank you so much my crow friends” Lucky yipped, he hadn't felt this much safety and joy in what feels like a long time.
Lucky found that the crows were pretty open as well, when Lucky wanted to go out into the road, the crows never stopped him, he remembered how Aliza didn't. Or how Lucky was allowed to eat all the grass and plants he wanted, though Aliza stated he would throw up if he did. Lucky didn't understand why eating grass would cause Lucky to be thrown into the sky, but he ate anyway. Lucky laid down after a while of playing, drinking some water caught by the powerlines base, it tasted yucky but Lucky wasn't much for complaining. It's something to drink after all and soon the sun fell down.

Aliza looked out her window tonight, wondering where Lucky could be. She cried for hours and hours and her mother scolded Brutus though his father just looked on with curiosity. Aliza could never figure out why her father never seemed to cry or well do any emotion besides stern and happy, but she digressed.
“This overthinking will do you no good. After all, it's just a dog.” she thought of her father’s words at that moment and stopped looking out of the window for the night.
“He must be ok. After all, he's Lucky and plus he's so small he will be too scared of cars to go into the middle of the road.” Aliza wiped her nose and went to her notebook to write how her day went. Knowing she would have to relive the awful day she's had so far. She wrote swiftly and in earnest and as she finished her journal, she looked out the window before shutting the blinds. The final part of her journal where she had to write the newest bible verse was written last and didnt let her stomach settle well. "Where there's a body, there the vultures will gather." Matthew 24:28”.
With it, Aliza sighed, it must be the world playing a sick joke with that verse. She chuckled and assured herself that he is ok out there, she will see him tomorrow morning and they will eat cereal and he will lick the milk from her nose. Aliza assured herself as she went to sleep.

That night, Lucky was sitting and awaiting orders. He looked up to see the crows cupping and chattering to each other. It wasn't until Lucky spoke up that the crows stopped lollygagging about and stood at attention again.
“So what do I have to do now? The sun is gone.” Lucky asked, the first crow perked his head up as the third crow whistled his own tune.
“Well across the road there's a house full of rabbits, now Lucky have you ever killed for your food?” The first crow questioned Lucky as he looked ahead at something which Lucky realized was a crow thing.
“Well…. No. But once I stomped on a bug in my owner's house and brought it to them to eat” Lucky said enthusiastically.
“But then she threw it away.” Lucky said not so enthusiastically. The crow looked at Lucky for a moment before laughing at himself.
“That's perfect, you can get one of those bunnies and bring it to us. With that you can have all the food you could ever want. But do it quick or else the owner will find out. Tonight's fog will mask you” The first crow said saluting Lucky with his wing, or maybe cleaning himself. Lucky couldn't tell.
“Yeah… Yeah I can do that.” Lucky said, wagging his tail slowly though it still hurt he couldn't help his excitement.
“I'll be fast, I'll be the fastest food bringer ever!” Lucky yipped in excitement as he started shaking, his fortitude and excitement to work bringing him over the edge.
“Thennnn go get it!!!” Crow one said, as he waited for a moment. As Lucky leapt out into the road and towards the building across the road and into the fence. That was before he was surrounded by the blairs of a horn. And the world went dark.
As soon as the world went dark, it became bright again. Lucky was moved last second by one of the crows, or at least that's what he saw while dazed on the road. One of the crows above him, dragging him to the side. Lucky found himself on the side of the road, looking around to see if he was all better. His tail for some reason didn't hurt, and he was all fine. All thanks to the crows.
“Thank you so much crows, I’ll make sure to bring you back many bunnies.” Lucky said towards the direction of the crows. The hazy white fog hurt the visibility of where the crows were perched. But, they must be there since the fog only rolled in and they helped Lucky get to the other side of the road.
When Lucky walked a few feet to get to the fence, he found that it did in fact have a hole. Lucky was barely able to get inside of it because of a brick placed there, but soon dug under and around it. After fitting his bridle body into the hole he found that there were no bunnies inside, but there was a nice backyard.
The inside walls were white picket fences with flowers drawn on them, each wall having differentiating amounts besides the far back one, which had the least of all. Instead, it held five figures. One in a big white coat which just said, Doctor Dad. One of a equally sized girl in a floral dress that showed another set of white picket fences with flowers that was titled Mom. One of a smaller boy which had fire, muscles, and sunglasses read Big Brother Brutus. Another of a little girl with glasses and a similar floral dress named Aliza. With the final figure was of a dog. Named Lucky.
Lucky saw this and started to cheer, he knew where he was and he was so close all this time. He was home, he ran towards the back door window and yipped and yapped trying to get the attention of the family but found it was to no avail. In this, Lucky knew exactly who to go to in situations like this and tried to climb back through the hole but was stopped.

“Yeah man cya tomorrow.” Brutus got off with his friends and checked the time.
‘Crap I missed dinner.’ he thought as he walked downstairs and found a plate of food for him on the counter with a sticky note on it.
“Dad overheard your phone call with your girlfriend after what you did and told me you wouldn't be joining us for dinner. I'm sorry that happened honey and hope you feel better, in the pantry is one of dads cakes he made from one of his machines in the basement. He said it's for you only and seemed kinda serious about it haha. Enjoy sweetie” Was what the first sticky note said but on the first was a second attached underneath.
“Oh yeah, at dinner Aliza said to tell you she forgives you because Dad will apparently find Lucky. Knowing your father he will use one of his machines to find that dog haha. Lets hope he does and Lucky doesn't end up dead, who knows what will happen to Aliza if that happens. Enjoy your cake.” Behind it was a container of cake with a label inscribed Kinetical Cooking, which made Brutus chuckle.
‘Even if it's to make me feel better he has to inscribe his logos’ Brutus thought as he was about to leave up the stairs but overhead what sounded like a dog barking in the backyard.
Without hesitation he maneuvered past the dining table and opened the screen door, in the backyard he found his family's fence. He looked at them and saw as his, his mothers, sisters and even Lucky's portrait glowed green with see in the dark paint. His fathers never had that glow because he never painted his, his mother did and someone painted them over with glow in the dark paint.
Before returning inside he did one quick sweep of the backyard to see if he could find what made that barking sound. He could check behind the shed but thought it foolish anything would hide there cause of spiders.
“Here puppy puppy puppy.” He called out with no response, and the feeling of wind against his shirt, it was going to rain soon. So he went back inside and looked back at his cake. Beside it was a covered plate of chicken alfredo. He then frowned as he missed his favorite dinner since mom always makes the best alfredo sauce. He then sighed, reheated it and walked upstairs.

Eyes, two yellow eyes looked back at Lucky. Still on the inside of the fence he looked at where the hole he crawled through stood and watched as another animal looked back at him. It was. Well to Lucky, it looked to be another animal, maybe a wolf. Yes, with shaky eyes like that, it must be.
This thing looked at Lucky and barked once, causing Lucky to run in fear, scratching at the door as whatever was on the other side of the fence, clawed and bit under the fence, its face looked to almost break the fence in half before being pulled away, still barking towards Lucky as it went away. Lucky's breath became shallow as he looked towards the inside of the house to see the clock read 1.a.m.

‘This thing is uncomfortable’ The doctor thought, moving the mask around his head to get comfortable. He knew the energy would be found in his members just fine but that’s cruel that’s wrong. He knew what he needed to do, but didn’t have the heart to do it. He knew this day would come, it was his plan from the start but did he have the guts? No, probably not.

From there, Lucky tried to find another way out, he couldn't see anything outside of the backyard’s outer fence, which was being held up by the fog. Lucky sat there for a moment, trying to figure out a way to get outside of this fence while being able to alert the family. That was until he looked into the house and saw a masked figure walking towards Lucky. With that, Lucky walked up towards the window but saw that the masked figure had a wolf with him, a wolf which had bloodshot eyes and lunged towards Lucky.
Lucky jumped back at this and skittered away as fast as he could. He relocated to behind the family's shed, which held a great hiding spot from the wolf as he couldn't fit there. What Lucky found were spiders which all crawled around him as he hid. From outside the hiding hole, the masked man’s wolf growled before a soft “shhh” noise calmed the wolf down as someone was nearby.
“Here, puppy puppy puppy.” A voice called out which Lucky recognized immediately as Brutus. Lucky was about to yip for his attention but found it would be worse.
‘What's that kid gonna do if I get his attention? He will just send me to another one of those holes in the side of the road which will most likely be further away!!’ At that thought, Lucky stayed silent but even if he wanted to speak out, he would find it impossible. The Masked man was holding his muzzle shut with his fingers, pinching every so often and making Lucky’s teeth grind together.

Passing Aliza’s room, Brutus knocked on the door hoping to make some type of amends by offering her a piece of cake. Instead, he was welcomed with silence and when he called her name, he was given no response.
‘She must be asleep’ Brutus thought, shrugging it off and thought to give her a pancake instead in the morning as a substitute.
‘Though would she even want a pancake ever again? She always had some with Lucky and heck would she even accept it from me even if she had that dog?’ Brutus thought, entering his bedroom before taking a fork worth of cake and eating it as he sat in his chair. He saw an image on his screen for a split second, it was of one of his buddy’s inviting him to a party on his console. He accepted it and put on his headset.
“Yo bro, what’s up?” Brutus questioned.
“I ain't going to school tomorrow, I am sick so hop on and we can game.”
“Aight, but just FYI, Ima be eating, so don't be questioning me.”
“Bro is really eating dinner.”
“Shut up man.” Said Brutus as he loaded up his game and ate his food with it.

What felt like an eternity, Lucky was finally able to not hear Brutus anymore and the wind screen shut. At that, the masked man lifted Lucky up and held a syringe. The man smelled familiar and even looked it too. Lucky pondered who though, but dismissed it as the syringe in the man's hand came ever closer.
As it came inches closer, Lucky bit the man's hand causing him to curse under his breath and dropped Lucky as he ran through the back of the shed, and out the other side. When the masked man walked over to investigate however, Lucky knew he would never see him. At the midway point of the shed, Lucky ran through a hole in the back and walked inside, the darkness filling the room and Lucky's thoughts as he sat there to rest.

‘Damn, the little bastard got away.’ The doctor thought, looking towards the other side of the fence. He figured that this mutt wouldn't be too hard to capture. And plus, he was already presumed missing so who would miss him anyways? This dog seemed to be Lucky in more than just his Kinetical essence supplies anyways.
At this, the Doctor looked towards the glowing amounts of Kinetical essence portrayed on the fence wall. ‘That was Lucky no one questioned it, though it was his family he orchestrated and taught’ The Doctor thought, chuckling at his own joke before looking around some more. Having to wonder the question that has him in such a predicament.
‘What do I do now?’

Lucky reawakened to find that he was still in the shed and the fog seemed to have seeped into the shed itself. Though Lucky only felt it because it was dark. Hours, minutes, seconds. All went by in secret as the passage of time seemed to drift away. After an eternity of anything and everything, Lucky finally saw something new in the cracks of the shed's walls.
‘Light? Is that light?’ Lucky pondered, as if the sun were in the same room with Lucky. As Lucky walked towards it to see if the sun were glowing high in the sky outside the shack he was stopped and grabbed by the neck, or well something close to it. Lucky was dragged and seemed to fly out of the shed, pulled away from the light and launched outside. Lucky got onto his feet just in time to see the wolf and the masked man reach towards him again.
But Lucky was quick, and whilst running away, Lucky looked into the kitchen to see it was close to five o’ clock which meant the father figure should be up and going to the bathroom by now.
‘So where is he?’ Lucky thought, still whisping and dodging the wolf and masked man as they finally cornered Lucky.
The masked man mimicked the wolf with breathy pants with limited to no stamina. Lucky thought of taking this opportunity to run around some more but that would just end up putting Lucky in their grasp. Instead, Lucky learned from his friends, the crows, and with his absorbent energy decided to bark and yip as if he was in pain.
This seemed to startle the masked man enough for Lucky to swiftly dash under him, jump on a nearby trashcan and on top of the shed. From there, he looked around to see if he could escape from where he stood, the height giving Lucky better vantage points. However, as Lucky searched, the masked man reached for him and swiped at where he stood, it seemed as if the masked man was a little more than tired. The wolf had other plans and decided to watch where Lucky was staring at. Which was in fact, the hole he used to enter into. As such, when Lucky did his fifth and final look around the yard, he saw the wolf gone and instead in front of the hole, sitting and catching his breath.
‘There had to be another way out, there just had to be.’ Lucky panickly thought as he processed the new information with the old and tried to make a new plan. But it was no use, Lucky tried everything he could do, the hole was blocked by the wolf, the front entrance was blocked by a tarp, even if someone came out now he wouldn't be seen. This is it, Lucky has to do one more big move, to save himself, to save his family, to save Aliza and try to jump the fence.

With a resounding thud Lucky landed, spraining his legs and not making the jump to the other side of the fence. He had failed, and above him was the masked figure. As he yipped and yapped for help, anyone help. That's when the man in the masked figure reached down towards Lucky and wrapped him in his robe. At the grasp of the masked man as the needle of the syringe went into the back of Lucky's neck, his life and blood were drained from him as he slowly went to sleep.

Later Lucky awakened, in a place that looked familiar, but slightly off.
“Lucky!!!!” Aliza screamed as she ran outside and grabbed Lucky and hugged him with all her might. Never letting go. Those thoughts Lucky had seemed to disappear with every pound of pressure squeezed into their hug.
After a few hours of cleaning, crying, and a lot of love, Lucky was where he wanted to be. Next to Aliza, smiling as much as any other dog can when being fed crumbs of pancakes. Every day being better than the last. There were days, of course, where Lucky had to do stuff without her but hey that was ok. As long as Aliza came home, he was ok.
Lucky was there when Aliza and Brutus grew too, when they met many different people, from criminals, cooks, even librarians. Lucky was always able to meet them with Aliza and Brutus because of his love. Lucky loved Aliza and sometimes tolerated Brutus. Even when things were tough, Aliza calmed Brutus and Lucky or when things were dire, Brutus always had a way to cheer Aliza and Lucky up. Yeah, so maybe Lucky liked Brutus more and more when he grew. Though Lucky will never admit it.

This is the smallest story about a crow
Just kidding it's a vulture which you wouldn't have known
Unless told in a rhyme that was created and sown
But let's get this twenty four line poem good and on with the show

So these Vultures were flying through the olden road where cars drove by
Sometimes when they were lucky some things would pop dead and die
This day was one of luck and greed as they saw something through the land they scoured
It was fluffy and had a neck that shined so all at once the vultures dived with great power

With eyes that popped and skin that stretched
Fur that bounced with blood that it fetched
Beaks breaking bone and whines fill the air
Till silence and a skeleton is all that remains there

Anyways this vulture just got done devouring a meal he hadn't had in ages
At least not since he and his friends ate old man Jimmy whose feathers were as thin as pages
Todays dish however was one of delicacies and didn't require much plucking
It was a abandoned puppy dog, with a garnish that gave the dish the name of Lucky

It held a smile that Old man Jimmy didnt on his day of last
Which made the vulture wonder if he will be the dish of one of his friends' delicious past?
He then looked towards the other four all porched on the line
Questioning something like that is a gigantic waste of time

He knew his friends well, and it's not like he will end up like old man Jimmy
No, No he will live old and die beside his friends Kettle while doing a shimmy
Yes that must be true he cooed, taking a relieved breath and agreed
Then everyone looked toward old man Johnny as he fell dead, it was time to eat.
