I'm picking through repression

I'm drumbling through the web

But dry hair is quick to tangle

And the spiders expect to be fed.

As I swallow cotton mouthfuls

I vainly struggle, with a long-dulled knife

To tear my hair off from my head.

My stilled chest heaves with exertion,

I convince myself it is my choice to succumb,

I've hallowed the desertion.
