The day I met you I fell in love.

You told me you loved me and I was yours,

You told that you'd love me forever.

I believed you.

While I slept you stayed awake,

writing long messages and love songs to steal my heart.

We talked everyday and I thought it would never end.

You told me you'd take me away from here,

to someplace we could be together forever.

You promised you'd take care of me,

And promised to never hurt me.

I believed you.

You made me laugh,

You made me cry,

You also made me feel the most passionate,

irreplaceable,

ignorant,

caring,

and kindest love I've ever known.

When I talked to you I felt a flame that could never be extinguished.

A love stronger than any love story ever told.

I felt like Juliet and you told me you were Romeo.

I believed you.

You made me feel like a queen,

You had the key,

not just to my heart,

but to everything that was me.

You made me happy.

And again you said you'd never hurt me.

And...

I believed you.

But the day you told me you were leaving,

I bet you didn't know,

I cried myself to sleep,

I cut my wrists,

I wanted to die.

The day you told me about her,

I felt like my world came falling down around me in that moment.

And when she talked to me,

Some words to explicit to repeat,

All I want from you was to tell me you loved me,

And I would've left,

Only to make you happy, my love.

But to this day

When I think of you,

I hear you saying

"I love you,

I'll never hurt you,

I promise I'll be here forever,

Even if I leave always know I'll come back to you,

because I do love you."

And I, still madly in love with you,

Say to myself,

I believe you.
