So lost in the mist of hope,

The illusion of maybe reaching the end.

Not paying heed to what you want,

What impossible you wish for.

All along flying in that bubble,

Oh, what beautiful fantasy you saw.

You never knew how uncanny it was,

What your heart yearned for.

But alas, illusions don't stay for long,

Mist goes away, bubbles break and the sky hits the ground.

That's when you hear the sweet call,

The calling of the dreams.

They show you everything thing you want,

And everything you want wants you too.

They pat your back and comfort you,

Beware! For they only lie to keep.

Ah then they give you a tight hug,

Your head pressed on their shoulder.

So all you can see is black and all you can smell is the scent of the dreams.

They keep hugging you for long,

even when you start to gasp.

The scent lingers around your head,

As your eyes begin to close.

And slowly you drift away,

No one knows where.

And the dreams let you go,

As endless slumber carries you Away.

Away from everything you ever endeared,

Away from life, away from your fears.

Away from hurt, away from pain,

Away from broken dreams who claimed your soul.

And you were awake no more.
