"Can't you read?" Pixie pointed to a huge sign behind him that said 'NO SMOKING ON HOSPITAL PROPERTY'.
"Whatever," Sully said, as he continued smoking. "I'm stressed the fuck out, and this has been how I cope since I was 9 years old"
"You've been smoking cigarettes since you were 9 years old?!" Pixie exclaimed.
"Yep" Sully nodded. "Stole my parents' cigarettes and got hooked. Never bothered trying to quit. Don't really want to"
"Hey guys" Muffins walked up. "You ready?"
"As ready as I'll ever be" Pixie said.
"Yeah, let's go" Sully finished off his cigarette and tossed the butt on the ground.
The three of them headed inside and up to the ICU.
"Hi" Pixie said to the nurse at the nurses station. "We're here to see Stitch Green"
The nurse typed a few things into her computer. "Okay, he's in room 412" she said. "But only one visitor at a time"
"Go ahead first, Pixie" Muffins said. "I know you've gotta get back to London"
"Yeah, go ahead" Sully said.

"Stitch?" she sat in a chair next to his bed.
"Pixie" Stitch said weakly, opening his eyes and reaching for her hand. "Please don't hate me"
"I could never hate you" Pixie said, grabbing his hand. "I just want you to get better so you can be a father to our daughter"
"Pixie, I can't stop drinking" Stitch admitted. "I relapsed awhile ago, and I didn't tell you. I don't even remember when it was. I hit my head yesterday and I feel fucking stupid."
"You're not stupid, Stitch, you have a concussion" Pixie said. "It won't last forever"
"I asked you to marry me" Stitch continued. "Did we break up for good?"
"I gave you the ring back" Pixie said. "I'm sure it's at your parents' house, at your new place, or in your car. I love you, Stitch, I truly do. But if you ever want to be in a relationship with me again, or marry me, or be in our daughter's life, you need to go to rehab. If you don't, you're gonna die. Then I'll have to find some other guy to marry me and raise London. Is that what you want? Do you want to die like Dale?"
"Wait," Stitch said. "Dale died? He's dead? He can't be dead. How can he be dead?!"
"I'm sorry, Stitch" Pixie said. "I figured someone had told you. I'm sorry that I told you in that way. But yes, he's dead. Strawberry said that you told her that Dale wasn't breathing. Do you remember that?"
"I don't remember yesterday at all" Stitch said. "I only know that I'm being detoxed and I had surgery on my head. What's gonna happen with Dale? I know he has a daughter that's our age. I wonder if she knows."
"Stitch, I don't know" Pixie sighed. "I'm sorry that you lost your friend."
"Pixie, I'm sorry that I hurt you" Stitch said, squeezing her hand a little tighter. "I had already been drinking, I was good at hiding it, I know it's not an excuse. I also know that I can't take back what I did. You don't deserve that. You're an amazing mom, and the most beautiful girl I've ever met. I want us to get married"
"Stitch, you need serious help before I can get back into a relationship with you" Pixie said. "I already told you that"
"I'm sorry, I don't remember you saying that" Stitch said quietly.
"Stitch, you cheated on me" Pixie said. "I had to get tested for STDs."

"Damn, she really hates me" Sully said. "Go ahead, Muffins. I'm trying to kill time. My parents are not communicating with me about when their flight will land. I have to get them from the airport at some point"
"Alright, here I go" Muffins headed to Stitch's room. "Hey, man" he said, as he entered the room and sat down. "How are you feeling?"
"Man, I have the worst headache" Stitch said. "Pixie visited me. I'm gonna marry that girl"

"We all want you to go to rehab" Muffins said. "Sully talked to your parents. They're on their way back from Spain, and they have offered to pay for rehab"

"I don't know where Cherry was" Muffins said. "Sully told me this place was on Florida, on the beach. Cherry dipped out early, remember? Ringo refused to pick her up from the airport?"
"Man, I feel stupid" Stitch said. "I don't remember that"
"You're not stupid, Stitch, you have a concussion" Muffins said. "But Sully actually took London with him to go pick her ass up from the airport"
"Oh my God" Stitch said. "Is he back with her?"
"I think so" Muffins said. "I tried to tell him that she was just using him, but he didn't want to hear it. Pixie isn't letting him watch London anymore. That's why you need to go to treatment, so you can be a dad to your daughter"
"I really messed up" Stitch said. "Do you think Pixie will ever forgive me?"
"I think she will, but you have to prove that you're serious" Muffins said. "Go to rehab and show her that you can stay sober. We've still got 6 months until my baby is due, and I want you better by then. You can go to rehab once the hospital medically clears you, and be back in time for the baby. I want you here for that. Not in the delivery room, but you know. What do you say?"
"I mean, I'll probably go" Stitch said. "But Dale is dead. What about Dale? How did he die? Is there gonna be a funeral? Does his daughter know? She's our age, Muffins. And her dad died"
"I didn't know Dale had a daughter" Muffins said. "But he had some health issues. Me and him chatted one day while you were at work. He didn't go into detail. Do you know his daughter?"
"No, they weren't super close" Stitch said. "Her name is Nala Floyd. I never met her"
"I'll find her on Facebook or MySpace or something, don't worry" Muffins said. "Do you have your phone?"
"The nurse gave it to me, but it's busted" Stitch said. "It must have hit the ground when I fell. Stupid razr phone. Maybe I should buy one of those iPhones. It's like the iPod touch, but it's also a phone"
"I'll at least bring your iPod up here" Muffins said. "That way you can use the hospital WiFi and text me while you're here. I've still got that spare key to your apartment. I've gotta go have sex before I have to go to work, so I will bring it up here tomorrow. I love you, Stitch. You're my best friend"
