Anyway, it's like my parents read my mind, despite me not telling them anything about the incident. They brought me to shop (my dad needed a new tuxedo because he got a promotion) so while my dad was checking out new tuxedos at MANGO, me and my mum were trying on stuff.

Let me explain. I'm someone who's pretty slim but who has an ass, so it creates a back arch that is normal for Europeans but apparently rare in Asians because, living in Singapore, I cannot find any wide jeans that fit me.
Until today.
And it's still a bit big but my mum says I'll grow into it and I won't be uncomfortable. I chose a 34 (European size, about 6 or 8 in the US?) because I checked out the 32 but it was tight on my front (and I have abs and a flat stomach, so that's saying something) so I chose to get a 34.
Honestly, it was fun, and all three of us ate at Five Guys, which is my favourite fast food chain ever. Sure, it's more expensive than McDonald's or Burger King, but it's so much better.
And tastier.
I wasn't the only one who got something at MANGO because my mum got a black dress and my dad bought his tuxedo alongside a jacket for the cold weather that's waiting for us when we go to France. My mum says we'll do some shopping in France as well, and I'm going to get my very first pair of boots as well as some sweatshirts, so that's great.
I might be able to negotiate a flannel jacket too.
It took my mind off of everything that happened, and that's good, because it's Sunday and tomorrow and Tuesday, Hansel and Gretel. Thursday, Battle of the Bands practice round and my Science test. Friday, the real Battle of the Bands.

On the bright side, Secret Santa is on Thursday too! I got my friend a really pretty journal for 2025 and some cute stationary. I'm proud of myself, and I can't wait to see who got my name and what they got for me.221Please respect copyright.ＰＥＮＡＮＡwcRjgXnYPD
And next weekend I'm going to see Wicked with my friends! I can say it's going to be wicked!
I also went to see a performance from my drama teacher and her colleagues at my performing arts school. It was a pantomime based on Snow White, but revisited with Singaporean culture and Christmas at its heart. I've never felt better, and I'll continue faking it until I make it. With luck, I might even truly be happy by the time my school breaks up for Christmas break.
