Mediocrity and Monotony

Another day, Another distant Atrocity

Yearning for lost passion

Joy and happiness in Ration

Once bright goals

Now flickers in winter’s cold

Our road grows dark

Despair has left its mark

Time and reality blurs

Victory was never yours

As it was never mine

Fate punished our crime

We wanted it to be our time

But we weren’t worth a dime

Now the future’s doors are closed

Our flaws fully exposed

We now suffer the repeated day

False crimes to pay

Forever stuck in this apathetic bind

Emotions and Hopes Confined

When will our sentence decline

Give us a sign

Oh…

Was It just me who was left behind?

Alone in this state of mine
