“Hit it or Quit it: The Final Rounds Get Complicated!”
“When Neji is taken away to recover, he is approached by Hiashi, who decides to reveal the truth behind Hizashi’s death. Because Hiashi killed a head ninja from the Land of Lightning who was kidnapping Hinata, there is a threat to an established treaty between the Hidden Leaf and Hidden Storm ninja unless Hiashi is killed and sent to the Land of Lightning in goodwill. But the Hyuga clan plans to have Hizashi, Hiashi’s younger twin brother, die in his place to keep the Byakugan of the main house Hyuga from falling into enemy hands. Despite Hiashi’s disapproval of his brother being sacrificed, Hizashi agrees to die of his own free will to protect his brother. Though Neji does not believe this at first, he realises it to be the truth upon seeing a final letter written by his father after his uncle apologises. Meanwhile, the match between Sasuke Uchiha and Gaara is postponed due to Sasuke’s absence, and the match between Shino Aburame and Kankuro is set to start. But Kankuro forfeits, and a match between Shikamaru and Temari begins instead.”

Analysis
Firstly, let’s look at the history of the Hyuga clan from Hiashi Hyuga’s perspective. Hiashi killed a head ninja from the Land of Lightning for kidnapping Hinata. The reason is that Hiashi was only protecting his daughter, so he didn’t do anything wrong. However, because there was a treaty between the Hidden Leaf Village and Hidden Storm, things became very complicated because the treaty was meant to preserve peace between the Hidden Leaf Village and Hidden Storm. Therefore, Hiashi had violated the treaty, which is why the Hidden Storm requested his dead body. This is because they wanted the Byakugan from the main house, Hiashi.
However, things ended differently. Hiashi’s twin brother took his place instead. Keep in mind that the rest of the Hyuga clan suggested that Hizashi should die instead. Hiashi was against his brother being sacrificed, and he was willing to die to protect his clan. This shows that Hiashi is not a bad person after all. Although he cared about his clan, he also cared about his brother even more. However, Hizashi decided to take his brother’s place because he wanted to protect him. Moreover, Hizashi's (Neji’s father) decision to die was the first time he felt free without his destiny (curse mark) defining how he should live his life. He chose his destiny instead, which is linked to Naruto’s words in the previous analysis, where he told Neji that he should not let destiny define his life. In other words, Naruto’s advice to Neji was a foreshadowing of the clues that were going to happen in this plot. Moreover, Hiashi Hyuga’s perspective also shows exposition when the background information is necessary for Neji to understand the whole story.
After Neji hears the whole story from Hiashi Hyuga, he decides to choose his destiny. Therefore, he no longer holds any animosity towards his uncle or anyone from the main branch; thus, there is finally peace in the Hyuga clan.
The match between Sasuke and Gaara is postponed due to Sasuke’s absence. This is because Sasuke is still training with Kakashi, and they are not yet done.
The next match was supposed to be between Shino Aburame and Kankuro, but Kankuro forfeited the match. This is because of their plans concerning the invasion of Hidden Leaf Village.
A match between Shikamaru and Temari begins instead. Shikamaru isn’t happy about this because it means a lot of work; hence, he’s lazy. Another reason is that he is fighting a match with a girl. Although Shikamaru is reluctant to participate, he is pushed by Naruto to the arena; therefore, there is a bit of humour in this episode. The next episode will reveal a lot more about Shikamaru and his fighting skills.
The lesson from this episode is that sometimes we shouldn’t judge people without knowing the full story; otherwise, we might regret it.
