The shades from trees is now where I live

When the sun is hot the ground burns my feet

When it rains it pours on me

Where have I gone wrong .

Gone are the days I had my mum alive

We would talk and play all night

With a late dad and the only child

I thought my mum and I would never part.

Now I'm a soul of my own

An orphan all alone .

If tears could make a dead alive

I will cry till there's no more left in my eyes

If I could see a Genie and make a wish

It would be mum and I forever holding her wrist.

Now the thunderbolt drives everyone inside

I'll hug my tree and maybe wait to die.
