It's five AM

And here I am

Writing another poem to feel something

But needless to say

I've given up on you

Us

Me

I'm longing for someone

Who doesn't even notice my presence

I've given up on life

By now you should know that

I'm not sure if I can keep up with the facade

I feel like it's going to catch up with me

But I'm honestly afraid

Afraid of what's next to come

That's if I stick around long enough

Depression often hits me like a ton of bricks

It always manages to sneak up on me

I didn't agree to this

Sadness often hits me during the AM

Whereas I can't sleep

Overthinking and stating that there's so many other people I'd rather be

I know I say it a lot

But I really feel alone

Not even I can save me from myself

I feel like im stuck in an in-closed room with no out

This room is also called mind
