What is the Disney College Program?
The Disney College Program is an internship for college students and recent graduates to two years out of school. From anywhere from four months to one year, students work at Disney World—a stepping stone for learning about the workforce and improving their resumes. CPs do not pick their roles—Disney puts them wherever they need help—so anticipation could be a CP's greatest strength or weakness. Roles range anywhere from Attractions (such as Galaxy's Edge), Custodial (theme park or resort), Merchandise, and more.
To be a successful CP, one must be patient, willing to work long hours, and eager to make new friends, as the CP can become challenging. CPs must also prepare themselves for a possible extension and likely only a Part-Time job afterward. Like any job, it has pros and cons, but the experience, in a nutshell, is not easily forgotten.

Living with Anxiety
Disney Pixar's new film, Inside Out 2, follows the journey of Riley, who's budded into a teenager and must face one of the most powerful emotions, Anxiety.
Coming from someone who has anxiety, the early teens are when most children start facing this unpredictable anti-hero. The best way to fight Anxiety is to strategize. Know the difference between an anxiety and panic attack. If one fears they are having one, stop what you're doing and take deep breaths. These attacks are only temporarily and last, at most, thirty minutes, but most people feel better after five or ten.
As shown in Inside Out 2 and real life, there is a difference between anxiety and fear. Fear is in the moment, while anxiety is fearing the future. Do not feel ashamed to ask for help, especially as a young teen, when anxiety buds like a flower in the spring.

How to Ace a Job Interview
Like Anxiety, a job interview is an anti-hero that everyone needs to fight eventually. The first is always the hardest, and interviews become easier over time. Simple steps to do well in an interview include: practicing before a mirror or person, writing notes and keeping a folder, preparing questions ahead of time because questions are needed at the end of an interview, and researching the company and position you've applied for.
On the interview day, arrive fifteen minutes early, dress professionally, and give the interviewer (s) a firm handshake. Rarely, companies will hold panel interviews when two or more interviewers interview a candidate. More is always intimidating, but if you've followed the steps above, panel interviews can run just as smoothly. Common interview questions are: Could you tell me about yourself? What are your strengths and weaknesses? Why do you believe you're the best candidate for this position? The most important thing for any interview is to be yourself.

"Summer Sunshine"
It's that time of year when kids are out of school, and parents need to entertain them—summertime! So, what are some tips and tricks for a safe and healthy summer vacation (as you know, kids love school)? A family trip allows parents and children to bond, all while catching up on what they missed during the school year.
For families with kids of all ages, theme parks, a week at the beach, lake, and even an international trip will work. The world is an enormous place, and sharing it with kids while they are still young will excite them about the future and learn about culture. Remember, though, summertime is hot. Many people travel, so stay hydrated and safe on the roads. Try not to drive during the busiest hours, and take the opportunity to teach children crucial life skills. Also, ensure you drink ten glasses of water a day. Do that, and your "Summer Sunshine" won't ever end.

Late Bloomers Are Just as Important
Parents have high expectations for their children but must also accept that some children are late bloomers. They take more time with school and growing up, and that's okay. Studies have proven that people nowadays spend more time in school, partly due to the COVID-19 Pandemic, so patience is key between child and parent. Likewise, few children have learning disabilities, dyslexia, and forms of autism. Down in Disney, there is an important Key called Inclusion, and one everyone should practice. Teach children what to expect in adulthood early, so they build self-esteem and confidence. Remember, adults were children once, too, and now it's their child's time to bend the curve and repeat history. With that said, late bloomers are just as important.
