Taking a deep breath, I pushed open the doors, letting light illuminate the pitch black room. But I was beyond shocked at what I discovered. Lying on the ruby red mattress was my father, his long, curly dark brown hair falling in waves over his eyes as his hands wrapped tightly around the throat of a woman lying beneath him. Her long, golden tresses spilling around her like a halo and she screamed and wiggled to get away from his grasp. As she turned her face towards me, I recognized her to be my mother! My father growled harshly as he noticed the door opening, however, it seems that he only recognized younger me. He got up and stalked over to us with the sheet wrapped tightly around his waist and I noticed that their was blood on the sheets. My mother curled up into a ball and sobbed. But thankfully, help arrived at that very moment. Another figure entered the doorway and we all looked up to see a blonde woman, who bared a striking resemblance to my mother. My father seemed just as confused as he looked back and forth between the two. But before he could’ve said anything, the mystery blonde woman grabbed a vase and smashed it on the back of his head, knocking him out cold.
