自幼受父親「不可胸無點墨」的「諄諄教導」，無墨不是沒有墨，而是「墨」然於心；文字已內化，不需外在的墨來證明。經年筆耕不輟，以說書人自居，謙遜治學。
「無墨」非現在之境，乃自我期許的最終體會。如江湖中行走的說書人，不敢自詡為文豪巨匠，只願在茶館酒肆間，用最樸實的話語，講述動人的故事。
