I finally walked away from the girl after I realized I had probably been staring at her for way too long. It's just that she seemed familiar or like I felt a connection between us. Who was this girl and why did she feel familiar? Man, this whole situation was making me go insane. I was just nervous about what would happen if our secret got out, it would be all my fault if people found out about the other world. I took a deep breath and decided to go to bed early, I needed rest after such a long day.
When I woke up everything felt like a dream, waking up in that cabin woke me back to reality. Which was the fact that I was on a mission on Earth and I already screwed up. I was the person who was actually focused on the mission and not just playing around, but honestly was I really a leader? No, that doesn't matter now, I need to focus on finding "Curly Girl". I got up and got ready for the day, this had to work. I finally stepped outside and looked at the crowd already forming by the cafeteria for breakfast. It smelled so good, focus, I had to find her, but I guess she would probably be in the cafeteria eating right?
I walked into the cafeteria and it was packed with all kinds of students. Not many curls though, This should be easy, scope out every girl with dark curls, right? Nope, later on, Ty and Kassen joined me for breakfast but no sight of "Curly Girl" Kassen had said he and Ty had nothing to report. Oh shoot, we're not gonna find her and I'm gonna be dead to my whole society. After looking around the cafeteria and watching new students pile in with no luck in finding "Curly Girl" we stepped outside and walked around the campus. No sign of her yet.
Then we walked into a recreation room and saw a bunch of events posted at different tables. I spotted a competition that had been labeled as an Improv dance comp and decided to join. It seemed fun, and I had been a big dancer back at home and normally competed with a teammate so it would be nice to dance again. There were also a ton of people going to be there which gave me hope in finding "Curly Girl". After looking at a bunch of clubs and events that were going on we stepped outside and walked a little more. Not gonna lie, the camp was actually beautiful. It was summer and there was a nice breeze, the lake shimmered every so pretty and the trees were all bright green. It was truly breathtaking, not so bad for such an "old" camp. We kept wandering around the camp in hopes we would see her. Still no signs of her and it was already getting late. Gosh, I'm so doomed, my only hope now is that contest.
