" We just want to be your friends," Ty said, sounding quite nervous too.
" Oh, you want to be friends with me so you can make sure I don't spill your little secret," Linen said. " Wow, she's smart," I said. She had already realized our plan. " Yeah basically," Kassen said, kind of laughing. " Why are you guys acting so unserious, right now?" Ty said looking at me and Kassen like we were insane. All of a sudden Linen started laughing.
. " What is even going on?" she said, still laughing a little, " I mean, you guys expect me to be your friend, without even explaining what the heck I saw in that bathroom?" She continued. " Uhm, yeah about that," I said scratching my head nervously. " It's gonna be hard to explain," Ty said still looking like he was about to explode from his anxiety. " Here sit, and we'll try our best to explain," I said, sitting on the floor and patting the floor next to me. " Uh, ok, and Don't pat the floor I'm not a dog," Linen said rolling her eyes and sitting down. Ty and Kassen followed by taking a seat on the floor. " Um so basically, we're from another world, where everyone is pretty much perfect and has powers," I said, scared to death, how was I gonna explain this? I continued
" We were sent on a Misson, every year a group gets picked to go on this earthly Misson and this year we got picked" Gosh, this was so nerve-racking. " Interesting, and you already messed up," She said laughing, how could she be so chill." You're not freaked about another world?" Ty said joining in. " Uhh, I mean I'm not surprised," she said back " How are you acting so calm with this" I finally said. " Well I mean I am a bit freaked out that these guys are running around camp with some stranger thing type of power or whatever, but I'm not shocked this camp is filled with weird kids," She said making a "This is fine" type of face and just nodding. This was so frustrating.
" First, of all, we're not some type of "stranger things" or whatever, we have multiple powers, and second of all where the heck are we that you're acting like all of this is normal! I said, kind of throwing my hands up, she can't be serious. " I'm from Indiana, what do you expect? And anyways we're literally in Nebraska at a Camp that's literally a boarding school, you don't really get more random than that." Oh my gosh, she can't be serious, " UGH, You're so UGH Insufferable," I said pretty angry. " Well, you're not very pleasant either," She said, crossing her arms and looking angry too.
" Umm, what's Stranger things? " It was Ty, he sounded so quiet and shy. " Uh, it's a TV show it's pretty creepy, where people have powers and stuff," Linen said answering Ty's question but still looking annoyed. " Yeah, we're definitely not some type of Stranger Things, not even close honestly," Kassen said, finally joining the conversation. " You know that show?" I asked, we really didn't have much outside-world stuff that we were able to watch. " Yeah, I'm pretty sure I watched it Illegay once" Kasen, said just nodding. This made Linen laugh so hard " Wow, you're criminals too!" she said sarcastically. " This is supposed to be serious!" I said, kinda of shouting.
Everyone was staring at me now. I continued " We aren't supposed to get close to any humans, we weren't in the first place supposed to let anyone know!!" This whole situation had me shaken " I mean if we pretend we're friends then you guys get what you want, I'll keep your secret, and you get to check up on me. Isn't that really what you want?” Linen said, sounding smart but also like she was already annoyed with us. " Yeah, I guess," I said, I mean it was a great Idea. "So what do I get if I keep your little secret?" Linen asked, crossing her arms. " What?" I said now looking at her funny, is she serious? "I mean you guys want me to become your ‘friend’ so I don't spill your secret, but what do I get for keeping it?" she said, " What do you want?" I said back, crossing my arms, what in the world is going on? " Well let's make a deal, I'll agree to be your guy's "friend" If after you complete you're Mission, you help me leave this place. I don't really want to stick here, but you guys clearly need my help, I'll stay for now. But only if you promise that after you'll help me leave" She said. " Whatever, deal," I said, it wasn't a big deal but we didn't need her help. " Good, it's a win-win situation for the both of us.". She really was a strange but really sassy girl.
