I was flailing in the ocean, drowning

Looking for anything to hold on to

I was flailing in my mind and memories

Hoping to prove that my bruises were true

All I needed was to love and be loved

All I needed was to know what love was

But I found the strength in secret cobwebs

We drown in the world’s blood, we will help us ———

I was a fool, a rebellious teen

Now I’m woman and all that I’ve been

It still belongs to the proletariat

Everything I can I still will give them

I’m not a fool, though rebellious still

Everything I am is guided by their will

So if the nobles wanna bloody it

All of my blood will fucking drown them

Jesus didn’t help me love my neighbour

The only way that I can show true love

Is by making my life fight the power

I’ve tried to force myself to get married

And to have children and all those warm things

But I’ve never wanted that kind of life

I feel in love when I’m writing something
