If I say that you mean a lot to me,

I know you don't think I mean it,

You've had too many lie to you,

To not let your trust get hold of your wit.

So, you'll say that I mean a lot to you, too,

And that's fine, but surely you'll see,

I cannot possibly mean to you,

What you mean to me.

On the days I feel worthless,

And the feelings won't come,

And I sit there, quite mirthless,

As I fight to be numb,

Every day is a day you care,

You make dull worlds less empty,

You brought me love, plenty.

You are the vice that I need,

You wont let my head get the best of me,

The unspoken words I dare not heed,

You manage to draw out of me.

I write not to boost your ego,

Though such might do you some good,

I only write to make sure you know,

That someone needs you, as you should.

Because you, as a beacon for those,

Whom you pull from dreams of dying goodbyes,

Told me the other night, to my woes,

You told me you wanted to die.

I've frozen,

I'm struck.

My breath caught in my throat,

Isn't that just our luck?

And the dead of night whispers

As your hands melt to mine,

And I grip your cold fingers,

As my dying lifeline.

And the world seemed to still,

And my mind stuttered in stops

And the timeless tale kills

With such plot twist drops.

In my words, I stumble,

All humility has gone,

The one thing on my mind,

Is how you must be wrong.

How the best want to go?

Isn't it woeful,

their importance they never know?

I can't stop the tears,

They're different than before,

Apathy wont come, not now.

My emotions, stuck in war.

What you don't already know,

I couldn't say, so I speak of

Love.
