SATURDAY
The next day, the group didn't have school. It was the beginning of the weekend.
Kyong and Ae-ri were hanging out at his apartment, playing with his dogs.377Please respect copyright.PENANAhwYNEOeMUt
Ae-ri glanced to the doberman. She smiled and picked it up.377Please respect copyright.PENANAx03GC8TJlc
"It's kind of a cutie," she said. Kyong chuckled, grabbing the doberman from Ae-ri.377Please respect copyright.PENANAhryXTJCs8c
"The name for her is Sunja. She was left out at the shelter, so I adopted her. Now it even seems like the rest of the dogs don't like her."
Ae-ri frowned. "She sounds like me." Kyong stared at her in confusion.
"Why? You have me...and the rest of us," Kyong paused, before speaking again.377Please respect copyright.PENANAXZdXKQ0rut
"But I'll take care of you, Ae-ri. If anyone bullies you, I'll be there to protect you. Just like I've been protecting Sunja. Okay?" His eyes looked at Ae-ri in sincerity.
Ae-ri leaned closer and gave Kyong a quick hug. She let go of him, but Kyong didn't pull away.377Please respect copyright.PENANA3TQrWwHUjw
"Thanks, Kyong. That means a lot." He smiled, and pulled away. Ae-ri pouted as she rested her chin on her knees. She looked over at Sunja who was licking herself.377Please respect copyright.PENANApuNOY0k4GE
Her face turned bright red when Kyong suddenly wrapped his arms around her shoulders.377Please respect copyright.PENANA3yxONwy7le
"Sorry! But you smelled so good..." he chuckled, squeezing her tighter. Ae-ri's face reddened.
"Kyong! Get away from me! You smell like ass!" she screamed in panic, pushing him away. Kyong only chuckled as he released her.377Please respect copyright.PENANAVaCllmIGw4
"Alright, alright. Calm down. I won't ever do anything without your permission." He smirked.377Please respect copyright.PENANAPwvjWC70TA
"Oh yeah? Well, then you'll never get any girl!" Ae-ri smiled, crossing her arms in determination.
Kyong raised an eyebrow. "What makes you say that?"
"Because!" she yelled excitedly. "You're too much! Girls would probably run away and hide themselves if they see you." She crossed her hands together and stared at Kyong sternly.
"Hmm..." Kyong pretended to think about it as he scratched his cheek. Ae-ri rolled her eyes and hit his shoulder.
"Just because you're handsome doesn't mean you can flirt with anyone you want! I'll make sure you don't hurt another girls feelings!"377Please respect copyright.PENANAAHEFj87Xdl
Kyong smirked. "Well, you're the first person to say I should stay away from girls."
377Please respect copyright.PENANA4R70jRcSwL
"Exactly! So no one gets hurt!"377Please respect copyright.PENANAjebZmqY3V5
Kyong chuckled softly. "Fine then. I promise I'll stay away from girls."377Please respect copyright.PENANApGwn8LBt4w
"Great." Ae-ri shrugged her shoulders. "I guess we're even."
Kyong smiled, then reached over to pat her head. As he patted her head, Ae-ri stared at him, wondering if they were just really friends.

Jin-ah and Kang-dae were walking together. Jin-ah had been shopping, and ran into Kang-dae. So he just decided he'd take her home. The sun would already start to set. They had been walking for almost two hours, and neither of them spoke a word.377Please respect copyright.PENANAXlYazHw7e2
Kang-dae looked to the right, noticing that Jin-ah was holding onto a bag with her head hung low. He stopped walking, causing Jin-ah to bump into his back.
He grabbed her bag then kneeled down.377Please respect copyright.PENANAasQa6YgGkY
"Get on my back, Jin-ah."377Please respect copyright.PENANARAEnnkoN1o
Jin shook her head, refusing. She began walking backwards. "No way. You shouldn't have to carry me when it's so dark."
Kang-dae shook his head. "I'm not asking you to climb on my back. I'm telling you." He held onto her shoulders, and lifted her up on his back. He felt her wrap both arms around his neck, and place her chin on top of his head.377Please respect copyright.PENANAXaXk8URECr
Jin hugged him tightly. "Okay, thank you."
"Anytime."377Please respect copyright.PENANAeD0X4PPp4V
As they continued walking through the darkness, Jin-ah's heartbeat grew louder. She couldn't believe this was happening. They soon reached Jin-ah's apartment. She let go of Kang-dae once they got there.377Please respect copyright.PENANAxK4NIS90Zq
"Thanks." Jin-ah smiled. Kang-dae nodded.377Please respect copyright.PENANAm8yN3ebxav
"Hey Jin-ah," he called out. "How about I come to your apartment?"
"..What? But why?!"377Please respect copyright.PENANA6cCJ5Nww2O
"Because...we need to study." Kang replied with a straight face. He needed some kind of excuse to be with her.377Please respect copyright.PENANA6luuIRUh33
377Please respect copyright.PENANAdfs6I1Rkaf
"Oh! Right!"377Please respect copyright.PENANAFxlCxUfdsc
"Yeah...you're too stupid for this kind of school. I don't think you'd pass, so why not just study?"377Please respect copyright.PENANACO6T6rJz11
"Hey, I AM smart, okay?" Jin-ah crossed her arms.377Please respect copyright.PENANAErJJiChyJZ
Kang ignored her. "Come on. Let's go study. We still have time."377Please respect copyright.PENANAhx8w93LVOU
"But-"377Please respect copyright.PENANASEEJVwQM4O
"No arguments. Come on."

Once they reached her apartment, Jin-ah unlocked the door.377Please respect copyright.PENANAakbceMesZd
With a sigh, Kang-dae followed Jin-ah upstairs. Once inside, Kang dropped his bag by the couch then sat down on the floor, motioning for her to sit in front of him.
"So, with what subject are you having trouble with?" Kang asked.377Please respect copyright.PENANAsILDD9HB3h
"Uhmm....Geometry."
Kang-dae nodded and began to work with her.377Please respect copyright.PENANA33z1MePg5a
Jin-ah sat in silence, feeling guilty about cheating Kang-dae out of all their studying sessions. She felt a little bad that he had to spend time helping her with math, even though she didn't ask him to. It was a good opportunity to get close with him.377Please respect copyright.PENANAHtkcuQDY7y
But it's not like she could help herself from thinking about him, either.377Please respect copyright.PENANA9DClJ9vKTo
After about five minutes passed, Kang looked up from his notebook.
"Jin-ah?" He called out. Jin-ah snapped out of her trance.377Please respect copyright.PENANAOjFpT8j1WP
"Huh? What?"377Please respect copyright.PENANAOZrf0ZQT6U
"Did you finish studying?" Kang-dae asked.377Please respect copyright.PENANAu4bnqWq5Kp
"Not yet." Jin-ah looked down shyly. Kang-dae deeply sighed.377Please respect copyright.PENANAH8dINPVLMA
"Then we better hurry up. I'm starving." He stood up and stretched his back. He looked behind him to see Jin-ah sitting with her legs wide apart and her mouth hanging open.
"You look so un-ladylike, close your legs." Jin-ah grumbled and closed her legs, kicking Kang-dae lightly.
He chuckled, then asked, "Are you mad because I said that you look un-ladylike?"
"Yes! Because you didn't keep it to yourself!" Jin-ah pouted.
Kang-dae laughed quietly. "I wasn't trying to do that. I was talking quietly, so you wouldn't hear, idiot."
"Whatever. I still thought you meant it."
"I did. Come on, let's get something to eat." Kang-dae reached out for her hand. Jin-ah reluctantly held onto his hand. Once he felt her touch, he yanked her up as if she was some doll.377Please respect copyright.PENANAS3F6asP77n
"Ow! Hey, you should be gentle with a girl!"
"Really? You act so much like a man."
"Well, I guess that's true. But it seems like you don't know how to treat a lady." Jin-ah giggled at her own joke. Kang-dae snorted at her, shaking his head.

They went to a local food truck -- and to their surprise, the tteokbokki was pretty good there. Kang-dae ordered two bowls of tteokbokki and sat down. He gazed straight at Jin-ah.
"..Jin-ah."
"You shouldn't hangout with that delinquent anymore. "
