The next day, Lykos woke up to see he was alone in the room. He stood up from the bed and stretched, wiping his face with his hands before putting on his glasses.
Lykos: What time is it?
He left the room and saw Alepou and Skylos in the living room with Sobaka.
Sobaka: So, you're finally awake.
Lykos: Yeah, uhh...what time is it?
Sobaka looked outside through the window.
Sobaka: I'd say it's 1:30.
Lykos: Huh? Why didn't any of you wake me up?
Alepou: You seemed exhausted yesterday, so we let you sleep.
Lykos: But what about going east?!
Skylos: Inu said it wasn't a good idea to leave early.
Lykos: Alright then...so when are we leaving?
Sobaka: Apparently something is coming to attack this place, and we can't leave because Aster alone won't be able to defeat it.
Lykos: Oh...wait WHAT?! Something is going to attack us?!
Sobaka: Relax, we got you, Volk, Inu, and Aster. Last time you did great, I'm sure you can do it again.
Lykos: Yeah, but those were some stupid harpies! What if it's something way more dangerous?!
Sobaka: You'll do fine, I believe in you.
Lykos: Sobaka, this isn't some show where the power of believing and friendship solve everything. As cool as plot armor sounds, I don't think we should be fighting all the time.
Sobaka: Look, kid, I know that. None of us are. Take it from someone who was basically a National Guard member and a part of the military, I've stared death in the face many times before. Inu said this is the best outcome for us, and I trust him fully.
Lykos: Hmm...fine, if something happens, I'm blaming Inu.
Sobaka: Fair enough, kid. Now let's head out and regroup.
Lykos: But...food.
Sobaka: Ahh, right. Go eat first.
Alepou: Oh, I left you something I made on the counter.
Lykos: Say less.
He walked over to the kitchen, opened the microwave, and saw a plate with a fried egg, sausage, ham, and bacon.
Lykos: Ale, I fucking love you.
Alepou: Huh? Did you say something?
Lykos: Uhh, it looks good!
Lykos heated up the food a bit and sat down to eat. Inu entered the house, looking for him. He stepped into the kitchen and saw him eating.
Inu: Lykos, I need to ask you something important.
Lykos: Huh?
Inu: What exactly are you?
Lykos stopped eating for a second.
Lykos: Umm...a human? Why?
Inu: Then how can you change your hair and eyes?
Lykos put the fork he was using down.
Lykos: What hair color?
Inu: Black.
Lykos had a flashback to his childhood when his other personality was created. "Now, for the first and final time...STAY AWAY FROM MY FRIENDS!" said this new person as he pulled an axe from thin air.
Lykos: Inu, what happened after you saw me like that?
Inu: I can't go past that moment.
Lykos: Listen, if whenever you see me with black hair I start going out of control...stop me at all costs.
Inu: What the hell does that mean?
Lykos: Look, I have dissociative identity disorder. My alter, Argos, he's not really someone you wanna mess with. If he goes crazy, stop him, he-
Inu looked intrigued about hearing this information.
Inu: Why'd you stop?
Lykos: Uhh, just keep what I told you in mind.
In the back of his head, Lykos heard a voice. "You were talking about me? Did I interrupt?"
Inu: Well anyway...just finish eating, we'll cross that bridge when we get to it.
Inu left the room, leaving Lykos alone with his thoughts. "I'm sure you were saying great things about me." Argos spoke.
Lykos: Why?
Argos seemed confused. "What do you mean, why?"
Lykos: Why did you say what you said on that day if you don't even consider them your friends?
Argos kept quiet, obviously ignoring him.
Lykos: Listen, if you get to come out, then that means you'll be taking part of my life away from me.
"So you're just gonna deny me mine?! What kind of logic is that?"
Lykos: Just shut up already! I really wish you didn't exist.
"You think I wanted to be created? I wish I could have my own body, so I could actually live a life of my own!" Argos argued. Alepou entered the room, looking confused as to why Lykos looked so angry.
Alepou: Are you okay, Ly?
Lykos: Oh, Ale. Yeah, everything is fine.
Alepou: Alright but, who are you talking to? Is it him?
Lykos: Yeah, he's here now.
Alepou: Ah, well hello Argy.
"Why did she call me that?" Argos asked, annoyed.
Lykos: Ale, he doesn't like the name.
Alepou: But why? It's cute.
"Stop." Argos yelled, almost liking it.
Lykos: He's being stubborn.
Alepou: Ah don't worry, he'll get used to-
The sound of a roar was heard, followed by a man calling out to Volk, Okami, and Lykos.
Lykos: Well, that was enough of a break, I guess. Man, I can never finish a meal...
Lykos and Alepou stepped outside and saw a blonde-haired man with blue eyes walking towards the houses. Lykos looked around and saw Okami and Volk stepping outside as well. The mysterious man had a hammer in his hands, lightning running through it.
Okami: Who the hell are you?
"Oh? You don't recognize someone as magnificent as me?" said the man as he stomped the ground, causing lightning to strike next to him.
Volk: Wait, I think I know who he is...this has to be him...the Norse god of thunder, Thor.
