Sometimes I don't know what to listen to

Do I listen to my heart

My gut

My friends

My parents

All of them?

I tried that

I have scars now

But how do I find a safe bet?

How do I find a truth I can like?

Is there one?

Is there a happy person?

Who can accept their fat nose with pimples,

And their skinny bodies that show their ribs?

Who can accept the pressure they feel every day

The panic attacks they have in secret so no one worries

I know I’ll never be that person

But can I try?
