I stand, with the wind in my hair.

Behind me, the path I’ve always known,

Ahead, a future yet to be shown.

Safety beckons with a gentle hand,

But my soul yearns for a distant land.

The leap of faith, a daunting task,

To leave behind the familiar mask.

I close my eyes, let courage rise,

Feel the tremble in my thighs.

But deep within, a fire burns,

For the lessons that only risk earns.

So I take the step, into the void,

Where dreams and fears are both employed.

And in that moment, I am free,

To become who I’m meant to be.

With every heartbeat, I embrace,

The unknown’s wild, thrilling grace.

For in the leap, I learn to fly,

And touch the boundless, endless sky.
