Naruto was about to hit Tsunade with the imperfect Rasengan. However, Tsunade stopped the attack. In the episode, Tsunade asked Jiraiya why he taught Naruto the jutsu since it is a difficult jutsu to master. Despite this, Naruto believes he can master it because his dream is to become the Hokage. Naruto has so much confidence in himself, which will help him grow as a ninja.

From my point of view, Tsunade decided to risk the necklace for a bet because Naruto reminds her of the people she cares about: her dead brother, Nawaki, and her lover, Dan. They share the same dream as Naruto, which is to become the Hokage. Therefore, Naruto will be the one to heal Tsunade’s pain and suffering from the past. In other words, Naruto is the source of hope Tsunade needs when she sees him like her deceased brother, Nawaki. Moreover, this is why Naruto is the main protagonist of the anime series.
Moreover, Naruto wasn’t interested in the bet until Jiraiya mentioned the necklace’s worth. Therefore, that is why Naruto agreed to the bet. Jiraiya plays an important part in the episode in the sense that, without him, there wouldn’t be a bet between Naruto and Tsunade.
Naruto leaves for training, and it seems that Tsunade and Jiraiya are doubting his capability of mastering the jutsu in a week. However, Naruto decides to train because he believes in himself that he will master it. Therefore, Naruto is always positive when it comes to improving his ninja techniques.

Meanwhile, Naruto continues to train, intent on winning the bet with Tsunade. In this episode, anyone who poses a threat to the Hidden Leaf Village will be punished. Jiraiya was aware that Orochimaru was up to something, and he knew that he had offered her something. From my point of view, I believe he gave Tsunade the warning because he wants her to think things through before she decides to help Orochimaru. If she helps Orochimaru, it means she will betray the Hidden Leaf Village. Moreover, she might be considered a rogue ninja, just like Itachi Uchiha. Therefore, Jiraiya’s warning is crucial for Tsunade to make the right decision. It makes Tsunade think before making the huge mistake of betraying the Hidden Leaf Village.
Meanwhile, Naruto continues to train so that he can master the Rasengan. What will happen next? Will Naruto be able to master the Rasengan? What will Tsunade do about Orochimaru’s deal? All of these questions will be answered in the various episodes to come, which leaves us in suspense.
