"OUTSIDER, CAN YOU HEAR ME?!" :(???)
Ashwell felt a nasty jolt that waken him from what seems to be a nightmare or a dream he was experiencing, but he could not remember anything. He looked up only to see a worried face of his companion Celli looking down on him.
"Outsider, you seem to experience unexpected events, is this normal?" :(Celli asked as she looked at Aiden with worried tone and looks)
"I am perfectly fine, I'm just experiencing voices within my head, don't need to worry about me." :(Aiden Ashwell replied with certainty as he insured the greatest fears that Celli is asking of him)
"That good to hear Outsider, so what Aurelia told us is to find the desert stream that would lead us directly to the City of Light, we better hurry before the heat claims us." :(Celli explained as the duo ventured onwards to the direction of the river)
"Understood." :(Aiden Ashwell replied and followed closely behind)
The journey was unbearable they had to make frequent stops to shield themselves from the scorching two suns, not to mention they encountered countless creatures, some passive others not so. But there was some good news, some of the creatures they got attacked by seem to be tasty to the core. Aiden Ashwell was finishing off a piece of meat when he caught a glimpse of a ghostly figure. However, it turned its back to look at him. But something was off is that the ghostly figure remains elusive no matter how many times he tried to talk to it, the figure seems to ignore him. Without second thought, Aiden Ashwell decided to chase after the ghostly figure, which caused it to run.
"I JUST WANT TO TALK TO YOU!" :(Aiden Ashwell shouted as he ran, he started breathing heavily this was his first time running this fast and so long)
"OUTSIDER, WHAT ARE YOU DOING!" :(Celli shouted as she's flying right behind Aiden, catching her breath)
The Ghostly figure suddenly stopped, which caused Aiden Ashwell to almost slam right into it, but that did not stop him tripping over a loose stone. As Aiden Ashwell got himself up and looked up to the ghostly figure only for it to place its hand on Aiden Ashwell's head.
"Don't bother trying to find me, I have been in this world like you. We first did not remember things, but we are trapped in this world." :(??? said as it lift its hand from Aiden's head)
"What do you mean, you have been in this world like me?" :(Aiden Ashwell called out as he did not know what the Ghostly Figure said to him)
"You would learn soon enough." :(??? said just before vanishing in fin air, but it left behind what seems to be an artifact)
"What is this?" :(Aiden Ashwell said to himself as he picked up the artifact which the ghostly figure had left behind)
The artifact started glowing with tense light, which Aiden Ashwell had to shield his eyes, but he felt tense pain as something was forcefully taken right in front of him as light faded down. Aiden Ashwell reopened his eyes he checked his body to see anything was taken from, but he realised his elemental holder gem had gone the artifact as well he checked around frantically but to no success.
"What was that light that just happened now?" :(Voice of Celli asked, but it was clear she was not happy about something)
"I don't know Celli but who was the ghostly figure remains unknown; I need to find answers the artifact the ghost figure dropped along with my elemental holder gem vanished instant." :(Aiden Ashwell stated with clear and honest voice as something remains elusive from his reasoning)
"Uh Huh, you seem a bit mysterious as first time I founded you. I doubt that the so-called artifact and your elemental gem holder would vanish, it's just not possible." :(Celli said as she crossed her arms looking at Aiden)
"We need to keep going, the sooner we get out of the desert the better." :(Aiden Ashwell said as he moved onwards, leaving Celli to her own thoughts)
"Is that the desert stream in the distance?" :(Aiden Ashwell called out as he investigated the far horizon)
"Seems like it, if we just walk up it, we will find the city of light." :(Celli stated as she felt very confident that their journey would end at last)
Aiden Ashwell and Celli felt relief that their endless search for the Desert Stream had finally paid off, for the first time they could find food and water along the stream. As they're starting to walk up the desert stream, they're noticing the sky seem to start to be covered in clouds, which is not normal for a desert this size.
"This not normal, the sky should always be clear like blue but clouds something is definitely wrong." :(Celli said in a panic tone as something is clearly off)
"How so?" :(Aiden Ashwell stated as he was unsure what Celli is talking about)
"Remember this Outsider, the skies around Chonituary must be clear like blue as it once said that the Light Goddess burned away anything that would interfere with the blue sky. That's why this is not normal." :(Celli stated with a sense of fear in her voice)
"I see, maybe we can ask the Light Goddess herself once we reach the city." :(Aiden Ashwell said with uncertainty as he had a bad feeling that something might happen)
"How are we going to talk to the Light Goddess she might not want to see us?" :(Celli said with an honest and unsure tone)
[Wait what I could remember is the Light Goddess was fatally wounded by someone from another world, hold on was it my sis... IT CAN'T BE MY SISTER I AM SURE OF IT.] :(Aiden Ashwell thought what he could remember from the nightmare he had way earlier)
[Was the ghostly figure my sister also, what is even going on, the more I learn about this world the darker it gets.] :(Aiden Ashwell thought but something is not right as he did remember those words said by the ghostly figure)
"Outsider is everything alright, you have been staring at the sky for a while?" :(Celli asked with concern)
"No, I'm alright just thinking that's all." :(Aiden Ashwell replied in an honest voice as he snapped out of his thoughts and look towards Celli)
[Why do I feel so weak all sudden, is it perhaps that light element is affected by the weather?] :(Aiden Ashwell thought as he noticed something is wrong with him or something making him weak)
"We should keep moving." :(Aiden Ashwell declared as he got his focus back together)
"Ok." :(Celli replied and flew after Aiden)
*As they walked up the desert stream according to the map they would reach the city of light by dusk, but their journey had taken longer than expected. The two had finally reached a massive gate with guards patrolling the entrance. What is so mysterious that the guards were all female then Aiden realized what Aurelia Wood had told him which was the society in Chonituary is primarily dominated by women's. The Duo was let inside the city without any issues, they looked around the city to find where the Light Goddess resides at with no success, when they about to give up, Aiden Ashwell looked to his right only to find a very tall and prestigious Cathedral. Aiden Ashwell in his infinite wisdom walked up to the door and knocked on it.*
"Outsider, are you out of your mind, knocking on the Star Cathedral this late into the day is a bad idea." :(Celli whispered harshly as she could sense something is going to go wrong)
"What do you want this late into the day?" :(??? said with clarity as she opened the Cathedral door)
"Oh, uhh sorry I didn't mean to knock on the cathedral this late." :(Aiden Ashwell said while he is nervous and sweating a lot)
"What are you looking for?" :(??? asked) "We're looking for the Light Goddess." :(Aiden Ashwell answered in an honest tone)
"Well, you are millennia's late she is no longer with us, if she was still here, she would answer your question. Now begone stranger." :(??? said with clarity while sharing bad news worst of all she shut the Cathedral door closed without warning and with thunderous thud)
"Now that just great Outsider that nun was so rude." :(Celli declared as she crossed her arms in a childish manner) "Maybe we should go ask the other divines maybe they can help." :(Aiden Ashwell said as he leans on the Cathedral door)
"I am sorry to say Outsider, that is impossible, I forgot to mention this is, all the realms in this world are separated from each other very recently by a powerful barrier known as the great rift. No one knows how to cross the great rift, so no one has ever talked to each other." :(Celli said in an apologetic tone and face)
"What?!" :(Aiden Ashwell blurted out)
"I don't know much of it as mere mention of it, is classified information only the great divines know about they never bother telling anyone about it. I only know this because I risked my life by the order, I was part of, if my memory was intact, I would share the information." :(Celli explained and added more questions rather than answering some)
"What was your order, if you don't mind me asking?" :(Aiden Ashwell asked, hoping to learn something about his new companion)
"I can't remember Outsider, I am the same boat as you, but what I know is that I was casted out of the High Heavens for crime for I don't know. That all I can remember but I had changed from my pervious self. I know my old name was not Celli, but I can't remember who I was before." :(Celli confessed her truth about the past which she has no idea what really happened)
"I understand, you had no control over what happened." :(Aiden Ashwell reassured her with his words and smiled)
"Are you both done talking?" :(???)
Both Aiden Ashwell and Celli was caught off guard when something talked to them, they both turned around only to see 30 year old women with light blue with star in middle with tint of colour. She had bright blue but short hair, she wears a court dress of a deep blue with yellow and white golden circlets with yellow gem.
"My apologies I didn't notice you there." :(Aiden Ashwell said in curious but frighten tone as he stared into the 30 year old women eyes)
"No need to apologize, I am looking for someone who managed to banish a greater demon named Achlion in the town of Olisville." (??? Said as she was taking notes of something that happened days ago)
[Is she referring to me?] :(Aiden Ashwell thought as he was incomplete shock, did Aurelia Wood told his secret out that who is talking to him knows about)
"You mean the Outsider, he was attacked by that greater demon twice, one unexpectedly and other deliberately he banished his ass back to the depthless void which spawned him." :(Celli stated with clear and descriptive voice, but she got so carried away that she revealed all the information)
|Great Celli just exposed me like that, who the hell gave the information to this 30 year old women.| :(Aiden Ashwell talked into his mind as he was clearly furious at Celli for exposing his secrets and deeds)
"An Outsider huh that quite interesting thing you did so called Outsider. I would personally thank you for banishing an horror from a generation of people, but I clearly do not trust you or know your instincts. But what I can offer you is a free room in star Cathedral to rest and get back to, but this is the end of my generosity rest of it has be earned than banishing a single demon." :(??? Said in a clear but serious tone as she gave a key and a seal of the Light Goddess to Aiden Ashwell)
"I understand." :(Aiden Ashwell stated a bit disappointed that this 30 year old women does not trust him)
