Sky God - Episode 1: Angel’s Arrival at Olympus

When I opened my eyes, I realized I was standing on a cloud. My hands were trembling. I was trembling too. Then I found myself in Olympus. There were demigods. One girl had pitch-black skin, pitch-black hair, and black eyes. Another had purple hair, a purple headband, a spear, and was wearing a guardian outfit—she was Athena’s daughter. There were also two girls: one with brown hair and brown eyes, the other with red eyes, wearing a black hat, fishnet stockings, and a crop top. She had her arms crossed carelessly. And then I saw myself—on the ground… Wait, WHAT? I was completely white! Oh my god… I had literally turned into an albino.

My name is Angel. I was working at a market. Because I was poor, I couldn't pay the bills. So I was paying them by working there. But then the debt collectors came, and I got evicted. I had to stay outside. During my school years, I was always excluded. I was always a shy, quiet, but serious kid. I was responsible and very hard on myself.

When I opened my eyes anxiously, I looked around with concern, seriousness, and order.
“Where am I? What is this place?” I asked as I looked around and saw demigods surrounding me.

The girl with the purple headband came in front of me. She had a confident but strong posture.
“Are you okay?” she asked with a deep and calm voice. I backed away.
Seeing I was scared, she tried to calm me:
“Don’t worry. Everything’s fine.”
I opened my eyes wide in surprise and said, “Where am I?”
She replied, “This is Olympus. Zeus has invited us to Sky School—!!!”

“WAIT—AN INVITATION? I can’t believe this! Zeus?! How…?”
Was Greek mythology real? Hades, Poseidon… all of them?!
But this is impossible… I must be dreaming!
I laughed nervously, “This must be a joke. I’m definitely dreaming.”
Then I pinched my arm with my nails. This wasn’t Olympus. This was r-e-a-l.
It can’t be… I was about to think—

Two girls with brown braided hair grinned broadly. With a careless and slightly sly tone, but jokingly, one said:
“Seriously? You didn’t know this was Olympus? How sad. Are you stupid or something?”
Her gaze was slightly teasing, slightly questioning. Her final words were coated with frivolity and mystery.
Inside, I just thought, “Huh!”

"Sky God" – Episode 2: A Dangerous Smile Behind the Game

“Huh!” I said.

When I looked at the girl, I noticed her two brown braided pigtails, her black hat, her black crop top, her black skirt, fishnet stockings, and two black Converse shoes. The upper parts of her hair were slightly wavy, flowing to the side. The two girls with brown braids seemed mysterious, yet slightly seductive and unserious.

“Hehehe,” one of them giggled. What was that?

The girl acted as if she were scolding someone, but clearly her goal was to mock.

“Oh Zeus, how could he invite us to a school in the sky? Seriously, I mean, he’s the almighty one, the god of the sky, one of the most powerful gods. Why would he gather little brats like us? Anyway, guys, my name is Lina. Nice to meet you. I hope we’ll get along really well. I actually wanted to show you something—wanna see my number?” she said, grinning mischievously.

The girl who looked like a guardian snapped:

“Cut it out, Lina. Don’t come at us with your weird behavior. Don’t mess with us. Don’t you have something better to do? We’re dealing with a problem right now.”

Apparently, the girl with the brown braids was Lina.

Lina’s eyes widened in surprise. Her eyebrows furrowed dramatically, and she looked like she was about to cry, childishly pouting.

In an exaggeratedly sad and fragile voice, Lina said:

“So you’re belittling my tricks and jokes? I only wanted to be friends… Nehhhh!”

Then, as if on cue, fake tears poured down her face. The guardian-like girl rolled her eyes and motioned to me with her body language: “Ignore her.”

But Lina’s behavior was so unusual—I had to get to know her. Maybe she could help me find a way out of here. She seemed clever in a cunning kind of way. I looked at her shyly but with serious curiosity and order, introducing myself and asking:

“Hi Lina, my name is Angel. Do you know how to get out of here? I want to go back to where I came from.”

Lina suddenly stopped her act and looked at me curiously. She thought for a second and then, with a mysterious, slightly wicked half-smile, placed her hand on her chin.

“Hmmm… Who are you? Have I seen you before? Have we met in Olympus?”
She glanced away and raised her eyebrows indifferently.
“I’ve never seen anyone like you before. You don’t seem like a demigod… Wait—are you not one of us? What are you hiding? Are you wearing a mask to run away from humans? You thought I wouldn’t see what’s behind it?
I can see through that mask and reach your soul… Would you like me to touch your soul?”
She squinted with a wide, mischievous smile. Her gaze sparkled with mystery. It was slightly chilling.

I stood there, shocked. “Huh? What is this girl saying?”

Then Lina gave me that same mysterious and slightly unsettling smile. The atmosphere began to grow darker, more mysterious, more eerie.

Suddenly, she burst out laughing—
“Heheheheheheheh! Just kidding! You really thought I could see behind your mask? Oh my god. Now I’m going to seduce you with my eyes and gaze deep into your deepest fears and desires.
Hehehehehe… Nah, I’m sorry. I can’t do that. I’m not Lucifer Morningstar, unfortunately.
I’m not interested in love, sex, or lust. I don’t like anyone. The only thing I’m into… is jokes!
Or maybe not. Guess what—was that a joke or not? What do you think, my friend Angel?”

I looked at her with surprise and a bit of unease, but then smiled faintly at her humor.

“You have a weird sense of humor. A bit dark, actually… But okay. Since you don’t know how to get out of here either, then let’s figure it out together. Okay, Lina?
And… what’s your name?” I asked, turning to the girl with the guardian-like appearance.

Her eyes sparkled coldly, with a hint of restrained anger. She said seriously:

“Tch.”

She clearly didn’t enjoy our conversation. She probably didn’t trust Lina either—understandably, Lina was complex and unpredictable. But there wasn’t much I could do. Maybe there was a good side to this. Hopefully she wasn't trying to kill us… or manipulate us. I really hoped she wasn’t this story’s antagonist.
In the books I usually read, people who behave jokingly, weirdly, and slightly flirtatiously tend to be the dangerous ones, the true villains.
But that’s just fiction, right? This is… a fantasy world. Nonsense.

In real life, I’ve always focused on reality. Because whenever I got lost in my imagination, people made fun of me.
But I wouldn’t let that happen anymore.
My imagination was ruining me. I couldn’t bear another trauma.

The guardian-like girl lightly touched her purple hair and said in a cold tone:
“My name is Ketris. I’m the daughter of Athena.”

Though she had a purple headband on, her eyes carried years of suppressed anger and a tough, hardened demeanor from battle. She was distant, especially toward others.

I smiled sincerely and seriously,
“I’m Angel. Nice to meet you!” I reached out my hand.

Ketris smacked my hand lightly. Her cold, distant gaze burned like a flame.

“I don’t like shaking hands. I don’t like touching people. Distance is better.
And if you’ll excuse me, I have things to do. You two can go play with the other demigods.
Now get lost,” she said with a reserved, quiet voice, and walked away.

I stared after her, wondering—why was she so distant?
In Greek mythology, Athena had fought many battles, even with Medusa.
Maybe that’s why? Some sources say Athena cursed Medusa after Poseidon assaulted her.
Others say Poseidon did it through magic, or maybe someone pretended to be him.
So many mysteries.

Both Ketris and Lina were mysteries I had yet to unravel.

Lina looked at me with curiosity. She crossed her arms behind her head and, with a childish yet mysterious voice, said:

“What happened? Back in dreamland again?”

“Huh?” I replied, surprised and blushing, looking away.

But Lina smiled slyly, as if she already knew what I was thinking.
She tilted her head slightly, hand on chin, smiling with amusement. Her eyes sparkled with a hint of challenge.

“You w—”
Lina cut me off. She raised an eyebrow and replied with her usual energetic tone, but now whispering—slowing her words as if she were pressing them into my mind:

“I can tell from your eyes, my friend Angel. I can read from them—maybe even your mind.
Do you like mind games?
Have you ever been bullied at school?
Is it all just a mask, I wonder?”

She smirked, rolled her eyes playfully and said with a mocking glint:

“Just kidding. Or maybe… you are hiding something. Who knows?”

Then she clapped her hands with excitement, her voice turning warm and sweet—yet still laced with mystery and mischief.

“Anyway! Wanna play a game? Tag, maybe?”

She reached out and tapped my hand.

“Tag! You're it!” she said, sticking out her tongue childishly and ran away laughing.

I stared in surprise and shouted,
“Hey! That’s not fair!”

Then I ran after her, as we moved across Olympus with the other demigods, racing over the clouds.

And so, the journey to find my way home… began.
