Lain, after listening to his instructions, reached towards the holographic television screen in front of him that was hovering in front of the wall, and let his finger rest on it for a couple seconds.
Just a second after his did this, a new holographic screen popped up on the left side of the previous screen that he was interacting with. This new holographic screen, as he looked over at it, had the same dimensions in width and length as the old one that’s currently still showing the living room area.
Inside the new screen, was a menu section at its top, which had a row of these words; Vital Alerts, Global Archives, Live Archives, Entertainment Archives, and Gaming Archives. Below the menu was a rectangular search bar that was white in the middle, with a red border.
Below the search bar, was a white canvas, similar to the one from the holographic screen next to it before the living menu button was pressed.
Looking at the new screen that popped up, Lain couldn’t help but feel impressed. He even marveled at the level of technology that could turn mindless runes into such a versatile object as the screen in front of him.
While looking at Lain marvel at the screen, Annette couldn’t help but say, “This television is very useful in our empire. Almost everyone uses it to gather information these days.”
“Yup. It is vital to sharing information across large distances.” Hui Shi added, as he smiled at the Annette and Lain.
Lain, hearing their words, quickly nodded his head. He then thought for a few seconds before replying. “I see. Can you please explain to me how it works? I’m becoming more interested in this television thing by the second.”
“Brother Hui Shi, please help us. I’m also not fully familiar with televisions.
