Winter.

Beautiful...

yet dangerous.

The snow glistening in the sun like millions upon millions of miniature diamonds.

Snowstorms charging in violently, putting any living creature to the test.

Icicles dangling, making music when they crash.

Ice on a pond caving in on those who dare to tread on it.

Different sets of paw prints scattered in the snow, left behind by woodland animals, each set telling a story of what was happening.

Perhaps a fox chasing a hare or just a dog wandering around.

Avalanches attacking those who disturbed the peace.

Balance.

Between the beauty...

and the violence.
