A zombie shambling room to room

A zombie who walks to the kitchen

With no real intention of eating

The living dead don’t need to eat

Until they binge and gorge on empty.

A painted girl with a painted smile

A painted girl with a shaky brush

Blurring lips with skin slowly paling

Soon I’ll just have a face so pale

That red bumps will arise in plenty.

In the end, I am only a quiet child

A quiet child that tries to speak
