He stands and waits for the little girl that always shows up late. He paces back and forth near the hourglass.

"It'll strike soon! Where is she?" asks the Man.

"I'm here!" shouts the little girl.

"Well you're late!"

"I'm sorry..."

"Never mind that... Now onto the lesson" says the Man.

"But..."

"Hush! We are wasting precious time."

"The hour glass is not working...."

"It's 2:30 and we're an hour behind!"

"That's because it froze-"

"No... Enough talking go play the song on your violin."

"Okay" whispers the little girl.

Oh if only he knows about the hourglass.... He will know that my-

"Janie, my girl... Play!"

The Man turns around and sees the little girl is gone.

"Janie!?"

I'm right here!
