In a story which told

Of a far off land,

Lived a beautiful Princess

With sword in hand.

For the Demon King

Had slain her mother,

Her father, her brother,

And every other.

He sought to keep her

As his own,

But the heartbroken Princess

Could not condone

What tragedy he had brought

Without her revenge

Which she knew, nevertheless,

Could not end with him.

With a leap from her pages

She startled her story's Poet with a whack,

And she cut off his hands

Before ending her attack

With her blade through his chest.

No more fables would be told

As dreadful, as heartrending,

As tragic as her own.

But from that wretched tale

The Princess thought to have had escaped

Did the Demon King follow after her!

Desperate, he made chase.

And all eternity they fought,

For the poor Princess had not thought then:

With no author at hand

Her story will never come to 'The End.'
