Prologue

London, England, 1689

The bell tolled.

Mark Abernathy slept alone.

The Tower was full of boys, and girls. He had been sleeping since last night. King Franklin, and Queen Greta, sat on their regal thrones. Suddenly he opened his eyes; he saw the servant girl bow at his feet.

'Breakfast, Sir', she said.

'I'm not a "Sir"; I'm a boy', Mark smiled.

'As you wish'.

'What's your name? I'm Mark'.

'Delia'.

'Are you working for the King?'.

'Yes, Sir. I was born in the Kingdom'.

'Please eat with me', Mark said.

And she smiled, and nodded.
