I was born in the dark light;

Grown under the dark side.

Followed its footsteps,

Towards the mirror disguised.

Touching the wall

It blew away the dust;

The broken pieces,

It joined together with a spark.

The circle it grew

With darkness beneath;

I could see my own face in it.

It rippled with soft sides;

All the words scribbled besides.

I looked back with no way behind;

The darkness grew within my eyes,

As if I was blind.

Then the spark,

It came with a glow;

I could see me smiling.

At the back,

The sound of a crow.

She pulled me in,

I could feel my body enlightening.

I was raised and drew within,

The mirror behind me breaking.

She held me tight,

And ran towards the edge.

We passed through the grey moors,

Where the bodies engraved.

We came on to the edge,

The cliff was struck with heavy waves,

So strong, so wild;

Played again and again on a rewind.

She pushed me in,

My eyes without closing.

The death haunted me,

My life was so eager to be free.

I felt the numbness;

Again blacked out in the darkness.

But I rose up,

Higher towards the surface,

Pulling in a breath

For being alive in grace.

I searched around the place;

It was green and shallow,

With different flowers crafted.

I could see her smiling;

The water it splashed in,

She laughed hard seeing,

My face with all the weeds dangling.

She brought me to the hedge,

I followed her like my reflection on a mirage.

She plucked me a flower,

And put it in my hair;

‘It’ came to me like a shower,

With all the foes washed away.

We ran through the forest;

The laughing and screaming,

It echoed in my brain,

She had brought me a letter,

Written, ‘Happiness to my dear friend.’

We sat under the willow,

With soft bushes like pillow.

We counted the stars,

Bright and yellow;

They were actually the hearts,

Of me and my fellow.

The stars,

It shone the leaves beneath,

Lighting my face with hopes underneath.

Then she grew standing on her feet;

Running her fingers,

Through my feelings embraced,

Making me feel so neat.

I could see the tears falling;

Rustling of the leaves increasing.

Her brightening potion

It sprinkled all around,

Leaving the memories small and round.

I picked up the ring

As her memorable belonging.

It was me, myself within.

The happiness that wanted,

The feelings growing.

Cause now it’s time;

For me to change,

For me, to be myself.
