Lord Nathaniel arrived at the Court of the Vampires.

'My King. My Queen. I...'.

'She is the pale girl of New York; she is one of us'.

'Such behavior is not tolerated in my Kingdom'.

'Careful...or reckless', Queen Beatrice shouted.

'She is pure, Lord Nathaniel; she is not one of us', Prince Gabriel said. His long, black hair fell down his back; his red eyes sparked fury at him.

'I smell vampire blood inside her, brother', Princess Frederica said.

'And', Margot said.

'And, you're a half-breed', Princess Frederica said.

'And'.

'And, you will be tired to us, whether we like it or not. The vampire child, a boy, or a girl, is a generation before us, or two'.

'I didn't expect this'.

'Family is family'.

'If I marry him...'.

'No, Margot. You shall not marry him, because he is banished'.

'No, my Princess...'.

'Silence!', Princess Frederica yelled.
