This is just a collection of some of the poems I’ve written over the years, about the many emotions, dreams, desires, and destinies inherent to existing in this world. I write about the many ways the world around us affects us and how we in turn affect it.
A quadrilogy to Soup!
With priorities shifted between them, Soup continues to live life in the rolling hills of grass and glistening skies, while Stew and Casserole continue theirs with their family, nestled away from others for the safety of their curious children.
However, their only daughter, Sage, is desperate to see what lies beyond the painted fences and predictability of home; a life her parents no longer lead.
Ready to discover her own way, Soup is entrusted with Sage and showing her what life has to offer beyond home; just enough so that it can tame her curiosities and she can leave wild fantasies behind her.
But, new dangers lurk in foreign lands. With the lights of guided spirits passing through the night, it's hard to resist the temptation to follow them and see what lays beyond.
Lost spirits are everywhere. Without direction, friend can quickly turn to foe; and the path to find what is lost seems impossible.
Even when it feels darkest, one wild light affectionately called 'Lasagne' shows up to help guide Soup and Sage onwards.
With their new friend, discovering the strange world together through thrilling experiences doesn't feel so frightening.
Soup starts to learn that it isn't so bad to let down his guard and lean into his inner child to enjoy the world around around him with Sage.
That is, until the lights beckon for him again...
[ Naimah Flash Back]
Your test results shows that you have been overdosed on a contraceptive pill found only in the black market.
[END OF FLASHBACK]
Immediately her flashback ended, Naimah accidentally spills the juice on her skirt, she excuses herself from the dinning table and walks to the female bathroom to clean up the stain but halts at the male door when she hears two familiar voices kiss and say;
Voice 1: Here, it's specially made for her but different from the last one I brought, mix it in her coffee drink, she will never know. All we need to do after that is to patiently wait for her to start hallucinating and showing signs of paralysis before sending her to a psychiatric hospital to die.
Voice 2: I can't wait for her to die so, her inheritance, shares in the company will be ours...
Voice 1: You are not eager to be with me...
Voice 2: You are everything I ever needed, then the voice continued to kiss the other person.
Naimah was thankful she had her phone with her, she was smart enough to record it than cry like a baby and get discovered by those two.
She didn't bother to clean up anymore but went back to the table like nothing ever happened.
What next, she thinks to herself.
This is a letter I wrote to the Canadian government asking them to try their best to prevent Azerbaijan from invading Armenia.
