For those of you who don’t know an urban fantasy romance is a sub genre of fantasy romance where fantastical elements are integrated into a modern, recognizable setting. Think of stories with magic, mythical creatures, or supernatural events woven into the fabric of everyday life in a real-world city or location. You could also make up a city/location. Please remember to include at least one fantasy element and then, of course, the romance.

I had spent so long encased in my ancient tomb, alone and forgotten. [As you walk along the pier, you can see a young girl that is standing over the barrier. You were just an arm's length of her but it was all unexpected, the events unfolded so quickly. You had no idea what she was doing. The first thing you notice was her dress and her intricate tattoos. All of sudden she turned around because she heard your footsteps. And that's when you see it, the sorrow on her face and the tears in her eyes. You froze completely awestruck by her beauty.]

Hello Everyone! This time it is simple.

In this contest I want you to make up a character. They can be from anywhere. They can be anything. The one requirement is that you put something tragic into the characters life. Whether form your own life or completely made up. If you pull it from your own life I’m sorry that you had to go through it. But it probably made you stronger for it, even if you don’t believe so. And if you pull it from your imagination then I want you to ask yourself if you’re okay and listen to the answer and ask for help if you need it.
