I watch Raine sleep, I find it’s when her mind is at its most peaceful, Rikko can connect to Miyana via mind link which is easier with a peaceful mind. While Rikko and Miyana bond I take the time to rest my eyes with my love. It doesn;t feel like I’m asleep long before Lyam is trying to invade my mind via link.

“On my way dude, Let’s make our Luna feel better!” My heart swelled at hearing this come from lyam, I knew the pack would adore Raine as much as I do.
While waiting for Lyam I started to brainstorm how I will find wingers and make him pay for not only hurting Raine but for killing hundreds of innocent werewolves just for fun. And no one knows why, he just attacked a pack 20 years ago randomly and hasn't stopped doing it since. There are theories as to why but no one truly knows why fully, Raine’s parents are tangled in all the rumors however they don’t make any comments on them. Raine won’t know anything about it considering how he treated her for so many years, it would also be traumatic for her to talk about it, i'd rather not put her through that.

A soft knock on the door took me from my thoughts.
“Come” I said in a soft raised voie careful not to wake Raine, I need her to heal so she's no longer in pain.
Lyam poked his head around the door and when his eyes found my face he smiled widely, when he saw raine he bowed, even though shes asleep that didn't matter to him, he still showed his Luna respect regardless of the situation. He looked at me and smile
“Hey, I got the bundles of fluff. I got really cute ones but they may get big.” Lyam said his face lit up like a Christmas tree. I open the three crates to see three Sleeping Maine Coons. My face snaps up to lyams, his smile drops in an instant as he turns to bolt it out the door.
“Lyam what the fuck! I said get her kittens, not kittens the size of a grown cat which then grow into very large cats!” I quiet shout at him
“Okay dude you're being dramatic, they are not that big, The kitten is the weight of an average newborn, and they only grow to about 32inchs tall from head to tail.”
“Lyam did you just hear yourself, so exactly what I said is the size of a grown cat.”
“Regardless, Raine will love them and they will love her. So will miyana.”
Rikko growls at this comment. “How do you know what miyana likes?” Rikko growls, pushing through to take control. Lyam looks at Rikko like he was shitting his pants, he starts to stutter before making a coherent sentence.
“I spoke with miyana one day when Raine was resting, no one knows except me and her. She was scared and she didn't want to wake Raine as she needed to heal at the time, she was dying .” Lyam says with tears in his eyes.
“She's like a baby sister to me, I love her like my own blood. The urge to protect her in a brotherly fashion is overwhelming. You can't kill me for that because this benefits you, this means i would die for her, i will do anything to protect her so you Rikko and you, Damon cannot be mad at me for that!” Lyam whisper-shouts at us. Rikko is not the only one who is stunned, I didn't realize my dude had the emotional level of more than a teaspoon.
I snap out of my thoughts, clear my throat and say;
“Well let's get the kittens out onto the bed with Raine, but do not wake her. Get the kittens their litter box ready, and toys and beds. Oh and food and water!” I say in an encouraging tone.
Lyam nods and we both start to move the kittens over to the bed, two come out with ease and just find a comfy spot on the bed and went back to sleep, however the third one seemed to not want to leave the box. I got inparice and tore open the box carefully of the kitten but with enough force to break it, the little devil soon came out and went and slept with their siblings. Lyam went to get the food and water while I filled the litter boxes and set out their beds and toys. Lyam went all out and got what looked like the cashier got commission on when selling it to him. It took around an hour even with Lyams help most of the way through, we got the beds and toys all set up. It’s a good thing I have such a large room because otherwise we wouldn't have any space for lycans.
Lyam looks at the mess and huffs, Hestarts toiclean it up so i go and help[. Soon all the rubbish is collected and taken out of the room. Raine has been asleep for around 2 hours now, maybe more, I hope she wakes up soon. I then realize Lyam is still in the room.

“So are you staying until she wakes?” I ask with a raised eyebrow.
Lyam looks at me and smiles.
“Yeah, I wanna see if i did good. If that's alright” He says
“Yeah dude, I need to do work soon anyway so you can stay with her. I feel better knowing your with her when i can't be man” I said back
“Hey, we have become soppy since Raine arrived.”
“Shit, well I like it, I feel happy.” I said back smiling #

I heard covers rustle behind me and see one of the kittens stretching, he slowly walks over to where raine is sleeping, he goes towards her face and sniffs her, he tickles her nose with his whiskers and she rubs at her face, the kitten moves back before moving towards her chest which is exposed by the covers being moved. He sniffs at her chest which, luckily, is covered by a shirt and then moves around in circles before snuggling into her. His fur tickles her face which causes her to open her eyes, she takes one look atg the kitten snuggles into her chesatand she has the biggest smile, she looks up to find me and when she does her eyes sparkle like stars.
“Hey little wolf, do you like your kittens?” I ask with a smile on my face.
Raine smiles back at me “ Yes oh my goddess I love them, they are all so cute. What kind are they?” Raine asks
Lyam steps forward and answers this for me as I still have no clue.
“They are called Maine Coons and they are the largest domesticated cat. This is their size as a kitten so they get like triple the size. But they are super cute and require and love being groomed so they keep you busy.” Lyam explains to Raine who has a smile on her face the entire time.

“I love them already but what do we call them?” Raine askes

“How about Blue for the boy, Kiki for the girl and Tom for the other boy?” Raine looks at myself and Lyam for an answer
“I love those names Little wolf” I say
“I agree Raine you picked the perfect names for them2 Lyam says
“I apologize Little wolf but I must go and do some more work, but Lyam is going to stay with you if you like.” I ask
Raine looks up at me with a sad look in her eyes, she holds out her arms and i go to cuddle her, I lift her up and cradle her body with my arms, I want to show her she's safe here. I move her away from me and put her back on the bed where the kittens are waiting for her. There is something about Raine she creates instant strong bonds with animals and people I’ve never met anyone like it before so I find it fascinating however I need to find winners before he fins Raine I promised I’d keep her safe and they only way that is, is to take out Wingers and his pack. It's the only way to keep her safe.
“I'm sorry baby but I must go, Lyam is here for you though and so are the kittens.” I say as I cradle her face with my hands, I place a gentle kiss on her forehead and turn to leave. I nod at Lyam, The unspoken words all said in the nod, Keep her safe. As I walked out the door I heard Raine giggle and then Lyam laugh Knowing how those to work I shook my head and carried on walking towards my office. As I walk to my office doors I can smell someone inside. I link Derek to get some guards here quickly as I keep the office windows and doors locked. I'm soon surrounded by guards all ready to fight if needed. I use my key and unlock the door, I grab the handle and pushed the door wide open, Moving towards the door I;m pulled back by derek and he signals a guard to go in first, The guard shouts “Do not move or you will be shot” Other guards run into the room and soon they are all shouting the same, Derek holds me back still and goes in before signalling me inside. I walked towards my desk, the figure sat in my chair, smiling at me holding onto a long dagger, The same dagger. How did they get that, why are they here. How are they here?
“Alpha who is this?” Derek asks me, I look at him in shock.
