As Damon is carrying me out of the room the doctor catches up with us.
“Alpha?” The doctor shouts, Damon stops walking and turns to the doctor, I move my head out from his chest to look at the doctor.
“I need Raine to come in everyday for blood tests, It’s to check on her and her wolf, Miyana, I need to be sure that they are both healing as expected”The doctor announces.

“Little wolf what happened in your room?” Damon looks down to me, his eyes reaching mine. He subconsciously tightens his grip on me, before he starts walking his intended route.
“Raine, What happened in that room?” He asked again, his voice slightly firmer but still soft towards me

“Who’s coming?” Damon stops walking and lifts me up so we are both eye level.

“Alpha Micheal Wingers, He told me he’s coming for me. He wants me back, he says you don’t want me, you won't ever want a whore. Alpha Damon, he will take me back.” I say as I look him in the eyes, Fear is slowly filling my mind, knowing that I will die If Micheal takes me back.

Damon takes a deep breath and sighs, he doesn’t speak. He lowers me back into bridal style and continues to walk. Silence fills the air as we walk, I can see a mansion in the short distance. We seem to be walking towards it. The closer we get the bigger this building seems to be, I am curious as to why we are going here. I think Damon can sense my confusion as he finally speaks.

“This is where you will stay. I have had a room made up for you.” Damon says, without looking down at me.

I cut the link to Miyana as we come up to the doors of the mansion, double oak doors fill the gap. Stained a deep brown, huge black iron knockers on each door. You can clearly see scratch marks embedded in the wood which have been infilled over the years. Scars on the woodwork one might say. Damon doesn’t move to put me down to open the door, he doesn’t even open the door for himself. The right side door opens to reveal a slim, average height, pretty woman. Her blonde hair trails down her back to her hips, plump crimson lips in a constant pout, her big blue eyes look straight up at Damon and she smiles widely.

“Oh Damon! I wondered when you’d be home, I’ve been waiting for you.” She says with a wink, she steps closer to him ignoring the fact he is literally carrying me in his arms. Damon doesn’t even look down at her, he grunts at her and tries to continue to walk but stops as she stands in front of him again.

“Who’s this? A new maid? That’s really handy actually as I would love to have a maid deep clean my room.” She says clapping her hands, she looks at me and smiles.
“When can you start, maid?” she asks, Damon growls at her deeply, his eyes start to turn fully black, my hand moves from my lap to his chest and that seems to help calm him and his wolf.

“Kate, this lady here is an honoured guest in MY house. You will treat her with respect. I have told you before we do not have maids we have cleaners who only clean guest suites and the hallways. If you want your room cleaned I suggest you do it yourself. And one last thing, how many times do I have to remind you that I am your alpha, you will address me as such. Now leave my sight, I’m tired of this discussion.” Damon shoos her away and starts to walk towards some stairs. I can hear Kate's slight huff behind me as she storms off.

“Little wolf, you will definitely keep me on my toes,” Damon says as he starts walking again. We walked down a long hallway on the second floor. At the end is a small elevator, we get inside and he presses the button for the top floor. It takes about 5 minutes to get to the top floor, Damon doesn’t put me down at all.
We start walking out of the doors when I notice that the only light is coming in through the windows, as Damon takes one step out of the elevator all the lights turn on.
