I jog downstairs, collect my phone from the now empty front room. I hear talking from the kitchen. I can hear Ross' voice, he sounds happy, he's joking around with Ryan about something. I consider bolting for the front door. I don't want to see his face, I know exactly how he will look at me. And I know how his expression will make me melt. His blue eyes and soft features with the kind smile that will play on his lips. I briefly consider whether it's possible to like two people at the same time.

I eye Rachel's clothes. I notice she is still in yesterdays clothes her hair messily bundled on top of her head. She managed to get off her eye makeup but her eyes are dark underneath. She looks at the jeans on me and scowls. It's definitely in my interest to not say anything more about this subject so I look away from her resolutely.

After chugging some water and eating half a piece of toast I help tidy alongside the guys and Rhea. Pippa and Rachel sit in the kitchen smoking. It doesn't take long, Ross hovers around me, occasionally attempting to pull me into him. I don't trust myself to look at him as I might just encourage him. I want to talk to him but not right now, I need some time to process everything before I start breaking people’s promises.
