Like most things in life, they heal and they change. I glance in the double vanity mirror of my bathroom with a towel wrapped around my waist and notice that my face is scratch free and completely healed from the punch up I instigated with Matthew a week or so ago. Taylor is standing under the stream of the rain shower and as I glance over at her washing her hair I cannot wait to have her in my arms again. Grasping a bath sheet from the wooden racks I watch as she steps out onto the white marble floor and I stand waiting to wrap her up in the towel. It's a far cry from how I treated all of my girlfriends in the past. Often they didn't stay the night and I would plainly ask them to leave. Sending them off in private cabs into the night.

Taylor is an exception to all of my rules, my boundaries have changed since she came into my life. I guide her into the master bedroom and over to our walk in wardrobe. Softly closing the door as she stands by the large mirrored wall before deciding what to wear. It's a Saturday and my plan is to take her shopping by the lake before we leave for Australia.

Turning to face her in my pale blue shirt and chinos I notice that without realising it she has put on a light blue shirt dress. The same shade of blue as my own shirt, I watch her tan legs as she stretches them out and places sandals on her feet. Staring wondrously at her as she turns to face me with a huge grin.

"We're matching" I say wrapping her in my arms with a smile on my face. Taylor lets her hair air dry and leaves her face makeup free. Her natural beauty astounds me; thick lined lashes and natural blushing cheeks. Loose wavy hair that reaches her waist.

I pull out the keys for my convertible Audi having looked out at the bright sunshine imagining her hair flowing through the breeze as I drive. Taylor places on a pair of Ralph sun glasses and takes my hand before we leave the lake house.

Taylor is exquisite, I've decided after a morning of watching her hair swish in the wind, her golden glowing skin radiate in the sunshine and most importantly her smile that fills me with joy. She's trying on the red dress, in the fancy boutique shop we had visited before. I'm sitting on the little stool waiting for her to come out of the changing room.

"Jay, it's perfect" she says chuckling from behind the curtain as I wait for her to appear. We're picking a dress for the Sydney opera house. I've organised everything else. The dress is her choice and she always picks well. Accentuating her body perfectly, red it seems is her colour. She always dazzles in red.

“It’s the one” she says from behind the curtain as I smile. There is however a part of her body that I've recently fallen in love with. I find myself staring at them whenever she is near, her neck and clavicles. It’s something I've never noticed on any other woman before. But hers, the way her shoulders slope down and her clavicles frame her chest. It's pure femininity.

I notice her clavicles first as she steps out in her bardot dress, the satin fabric showing off her exposed neck and cleavage. I too think this dress is the one. The dark red fabric skims all the way down to the floor, accentuating her every beautiful curve.

She stares at me as the curtain drapes back and she walks slowly over to me and twirls around. Her soft smile in the mirror and her naturally curly hair streaming down her back, I realise I'm gaping at her.
"It's perfect, like you" I tell her as she walks past my little stool.

"Thank you" she says simply and I want her.
I'm in love with her, I want her wrapped around me. Taylor doesn't ever draw attention to herself although she deserves undivided eyes that worship her beauty. She does however command it through her class and a beauty so rare and special.

Once she has changed, we circle the shop and she chooses stilettos to accompany the look. Before picking up a matching purse, she calls it a clutch as I laugh telling her it's a bag. Taylor smirks and I realise that all of the time I spend with her, I can be myself entirely without fear or worry. The shop assistant eyes Taylor enviously, who wouldn't? My girl is beautiful and I only have eyes for her. Taylor handles the entire situation with ease smoothing her hair back before wrapping her arms around my waist.

Holding her shopping bags with the dress carefully wrapped inside and her new Louboutins, I guide her over to our open top car as the white bodywork on the Audi shimmers in the sunshine. She allows me to treat her like a lady letting me hold the door open for her as she glides into the seat and I place the bags in the back. Rolling up the sleeves of my shirt slightly, checking my Rolex and realising that we have plenty of time for a nice lunch in my favourite spot.

“Where now?” She turns to me with a broad grin over her lips as I drive us out to my favourite restaurant. It's Italian and I just know that she will love it as I watch her lounging back in the convertible with her playlist on, some folky guitar song playing as the sun splays over her skin. Imagining her on the decking outside of the restaurant looking out at the lake with a bowl of her favourite pasta.

“It’s a surprise, I am full of them today” I hint and she grins. Taylor is unaware that we are boarding a plane this evening, I’ve almost packed everything in secret.

“I am going to try my best to express to you every day just how much I am in love with you” I whisper holding onto her thigh briefly. I pull up alongside the restaurant, a canopy outside and a carpet rolled out. The waiter greets us even at lunchtime at the front of the establishment and guides us over to the upper terrace.

“Mr Gilbert Scott is this too your taste?” He asks graciously showing us to a glass table facing the lake. The view is exquisite and the table is set beautifully, white tulips in the centre which make me smile ironically looking at Taylor who only laughs. The waiter shuffles nervously until I nod and tell him the table is just fine.

The waiter gives us some time after holding Taylor’s chair out for her and handing her a white cotton tablecloth for her dress. I glance up at the menus knowing exactly what I will be having. Sourdough and rolls are delivered to the table alongside olives and a selection of cheese. I do something I never do apart from with my mother. And as the waiter looks up at me patiently I order for Taylor. The best pasta off of the menu alongside champagne.

“I trust you to know me by now” she smiles looking out at the lake. We stare out at the water briefly and she asks me all sorts of questions about the different boats. There’s something about Taylor that is totally innocent, yet she is somebody that always wants to learn more about the world around her.

"Jay" she says and her voice is all seductive and sexy. It takes me utterly by surprise and I begin to wonder what she wants to ask me. I seem to never be able to guess what she's thinking because she’s not predictable and it fascinates me. Keeps me on my toes. However now as she looks at me passionately and lustfully in this very public place, I sip my Coke and decide to play it cool.

I passed the test. She is playful in her sexual desires, I think back to her kissing Rachel and I know that she likes me watching her.

She smiles. I love making her smile, it's my goal. I want to erase all of her fears and upset. I want to make her smile at every minute of the day and all through the night. I casually brush her lip with my thumb and she kisses it, grazing it with her lips.
