Three women have clocked me in the bar. One is older with ebony black hair green eyes and a short dress. Milan beige skin and heels that complement her dress. Burgundy suit jacket flung over her shoulders as she looks up at me once more.

The other two were blondes, with basic dresses on and keen smiles. Ross laughs next to me with the bartender, they're talking books and writing and it's terribly boring. I sip my brandy waiting for Taylor to make an appearance, the table is booked and Christopher and Rachel are kissing each other passionately by candlelight.

"You know we were both in New York upon the attack" he informs the bartender who gasps and asks him for his full detailed account of the attack. It's world wide news and America hasn't been the same since.

"You know you could ask to buy a girl a drink" a low sultry female voice says to my left as I look up from my drink and my sorrows. I pull a grin over my face that doesn't reach my eyes and the dark haired woman stands before me raising her eyebrows.

Ross scoffs and I smile over at him briefly as he stands and makes his way over to the lovebirds at the table. Rachel rolls her eyes at me before I turn back around and face the woman next to me. Her burgundy suit jacket placed behind her on the bar and her dress cut too low.

"Two whiskey sours" the bartender says sauntering away as I glance at the clock and realise Taylor should be down imminently. It's juvenile to want to make her jealous, however here I am with the opportunity presented to me.

His new shorter blonde hair scraped back as the two blondes sit gawking at him. Mouths hanging open as he passes them by cooing his baby. He clocks me instantly smiles to himself before I catch a glimpse of her.

A cherry red satin gown with matching lips. The eyes I know so dearly cast down as she walks behind him. Skin that rivals a super models, her chest and cleavage entirely exposed by the neckline of the dress.

"Oh I see it's like that" Cleo says as she catches me staring at Taylor's new look and hair. The caramel and blonde highlights in the ends of her hair add a certain glamour to her look. It fits her, she looks polished and like she's worth a million dollars in that close fitting gown.

"So what made you come and sit with me" I say demanding her attention with my green eyes. She smiles reassured, happy that my eyes are off Taylor and on her. The problem is Taylor looks hotter than I've ever seen, even after our several year long relationship, I couldn't have imagined that she would look hotter when she was no longer mine.

Cleo is attractive however I've found her hotness disintegrated when my ex fiancée entered the bar. I watch Taylor briefly as she rubs Jay's back and settles Henry into a high chair. She sweeps her long lustrous hair back and brushes her satin skirt before taking a seat facing away from me.

"Honestly I'm supposed to be eating a meal with my friends and they will have me for it if I don't turn up" I laugh and Cleo smiles taking a napkin from the side, a small pen from her blazer pocket she pulls out to write with and I watch her.

"Call me" she says rather typically before standing and exiting the bar in one swift movement. Her dress swaying as she disappears through the entrance without a second glance back at me. Placing the napkin in my pocket I walk over to the table of my friends. Rachel is in full flow about their day at the spa and Ross is eyeing Taylor as if she is the most beautiful woman he's ever laid eyes on.

"Oh Matthew" Rachel laughs looking up at me as I take a seat opposite Taylor. She looks up at me shyly before eyeing the menu and I train my eyes not to stare at her chest.

"It has her number on it" I laugh as Ross breaks his stare from Taylor briefly. Pulling the menu up and glancing at the steaks I decide to go for a Ribeye with all of the trimmings. Just knowing that my desert will be Cleo, this new woman who just fell into my life for no particular reason. It's something I've found I'm quite good at, charming women and then moving on.

"Rachel you look nice" I compliment her placing the menu down and eyeing her black gown that she's squeezed herself into. She grins and Christopher rubs her back, he doesn't trust me, he has seen me try things on with Taylor endlessly behind Jay's back and it has left him suspicious of me. However Rachel is never an option for me and he needn't be so possessive.

"You look beautiful" I say directly looking at Taylor as she squirms in front of me, Jay brushes away my comment a look of chagrin on his face as Ross compliments her over and over about her new hair. I'll bet he cannot wait to get her back to Italy, and their new life with Rachel as their neighbour. He knows that I will be gone, off taking photographs around the globe and making money. It's not something we've directly spoken of but I'm sure he's realised as he gives me a knowing nod taking in the look of regret on my face. The love of my life that I lost. I sit defeated, he won and I cannot watch her get hotter and hotter before my very eyes. Birthing his babies and leaving me on a daily basis.

The waitress a young woman dressed in formal attire goes over our orders and I notice both Jay and Christopher opted for oyster Rockefeller, fancy rich guys with their wives I think to myself laughing as I look over into the distance at the rolling waves of the sea.

"Got it food will be along shortly" the waitress nods amused before leaving us to our conversations. Rachel dominates the conversation talking about our past, mentioning so many parties that we all attended with one another. Obliviously she goes on about times where we had been partying and my mind tells me that they were instances when I had been with Taylor. Times where we had been pregnant. Taylor steals my eyes over and over again as she sits next to him, after a few more whiskey sours I'm past actively trying not to stare at her.

"Drinks in a cabin with an open fire" Rachel smiles and gazing into Taylor's eyes I know that it's my last opportunity. I look at my ex fiancée and know that she will not be snowboarding. She will be in a cabin with me keeping her company the entire time.
