This story began when one of my classmates had a "imagination girlfriend". Of course, this story is not true...

"Pull me up ya twat!" He said, rapidly tugging on the tug excessively, much, much more than five times."I SAID PULL ME UP TWAT!" He shouted, despite knowing not a single soul could hear his constant shouting near 200 meters down. I knew I shouldn't have trusted that rusty old geezer to actually have is head screwed on right.He said, now sitting down, trying to calm down while still constantly tugging on the rope.Just then, he felt a slight shake in the dive bell that quickly turned into a violent shaking, knocking him around all which way, giving him a deep gash in his hand as his hand quickly was pulled off the rope, causing very bloody rope burn."What the fuck is going on up there?" He said in a somewhat quiet but shaky and concerned tone. Once the shaking came to a short halt, he felt the dive bell slowly ascend as his dive bell continued to shake violently, tossing him around every which way. "Holy shit!" He said before his head bashed into the side of the dive bell, knocking him unconscious.Once his eyes opened, the dive bell had stopped shaking, but it felt unstable. Every time he made even the smallest movement, he heard an eerie creak coming from outside. He calmly stood up before he felt his oxygen slowly seep from his throat. His lungs felt empty, his throat closed, and his legs and arms immediately gave up before he fell to the floor once again. Shortly after, he felt air entering his body again, and felt his muscles and blood properly running through his body before his muscles and lungs gained control again. He stood up one more time before he opened the hatch to the dive bell, still hearing the eerie creaking, and as he stepped outside to an unfamiliar, almost rustic and decrepit metal platform, he looked up once more and saw an absolutely horrifying sight.The sight of his once bright, (of course, a bit of an exaggeration,) oil rig, now rusty and falling apart that looked like as if hell itself had come from the shadows and aged the thing five-hundred or so years, probably even more.

Prologue

A woman shatters the silence in the night with a bloodcurdling scream that awakens Tre. At first, he shutters and pulls the covers over his head, praying that whatever he heard was a figment of his imagination. After a few moments of heavy breathing, he hears the sound of the woman again, shrieking as if she’s been torn apart piece by piece. Tre begins to breathe faster and harder as each second passes. Underneath his legs, he feels the wet sheets soak in urine; the putrid smell enters his nostrils. He waits, terrified, whimpering like a prey cornered by its predator. The woman lets out one more screech, but this time cut off, followed by a thud and an eerie silence.

Tre stayed hidden for a time, listening and hearing nothing. He doesn’t hear any movement, no creaks from the weight of an intruder on the floorboards, no more screaming or even the slightest hint of life on the other side of the door, absolutely nothing. He waits a little longer and then begins to lower the covers from over his head. All of a sudden, blue and red lights start flashing, getting brighter and brighter as each second passes. He takes the covers off and swings his legs over the side of the bed, trying to quietly place his right foot and then his left on the wooden floor. Tre begins to put all his weight on the wooden floor, and it starts to creak as he takes each step toward his bedroom door.

Once he reaches the door, he leans in; his ear rests on the wooden surface and listens for anything, indicating life on the other side. Tre hears nothing, so he opens the door and pokes his head out before entering the hallway. He finds a bloody handprint to the right of his door that is smeared and leads around the corner to his parent’s bedroom. Before going around the corner, he waits a few moments before passing the hallway to the kitchen. He looks on both sides of the wall and sees a trail of blood leading into their bedroom.

As Tre passes the kitchen, he can see a police cruiser and its lights flashing in his driveway. He wants to run out and get the police officer but instead decides against it. The boy makes his way into the vicinity outside of his parent’s bedroom and sees the door slightly ajar with blood smeared on the door handle. His instinct is to call for his parents, “Mom… Dad…” Neither of them answered. “Mom… Dad… Are you okay?” The gut feeling Tre had was gravitating toward the worst possible explanation imaginable. After not receiving a response again, he begins to cry as he steps closer and closer to their room. “Please, answer me.” He goes to push the door open and jumps as he hears the sound of hard knocking at his front door. “This is Officer James. We received a 911 call from this address. Is there anyone home?” Tre doesn’t answer, and he can’t answer. He’s stricken with fear.

The officer knocks again, “If you don’t answer, I’ll be forced to enter the premises. Is there anyone…” Tre’s attention gets pulled away as he hears a snarling behind him. He becomes paralyzed, refusing to turn around and confront what lies behind him. Gradually, he begins to turn his head and sees a beast staring at him with bright yellow, a goldish iris surrounding its pupils. He continues to scan the creature from head to toe and notices blood dripping from its mouth, “Hello, Tre.” The beast smiles and reveals its teeth, soaked in blood. “We warned your parents, and they refused to give you up. They ignored our demands and showed no fear when threatened.” The beast's hands clenched, its claws digging into his palms. “My masters will not be ignored if they ask for anything; there should be no hesitation or resistance in getting what they want.” Tre stood there, unable to move, unable to speak, as he watched the beast’s blood dripping from his palms.

“Since I’ve removed your parents from the equation, I suggest you come with me.” The two stared at each other, allowing the silence to fill the ever-shrinking hallway. His fear turned into defiance. His parents had risked and lost their lives, refusing to give him up. Even though he was just a teenager, Tre knew he had a choice, and he would rather die than be taken away, giving this beast and its masters the satisfaction of getting what they wanted. The beast grinned, tilting its head sideways. “I ask you not to be foolish and believe you have a choice. Make this easy on both of us; no one wants more blood to be spilled.”

Suddenly, the front door was kicked in, and he saw a flash of light. “Holy fucking shit! What is that?!” Bullets started flying towards Tre and the beast; multiple bullets ripped through it while a stray hit Tre in his left arm. “This is Officer James!! I need backup at—”. In the blink of an eye, the beast dashed forward and slit the Officer’s throat from ear to ear. The Officer's eyes grew wide with shock, and fear spread across his face. He reached his neck with both hands and fell to his knees. He tried to speak, but only gurgling from the blood filling his throat was audible. The beast walked up to him and placed its hand around his, pulling his hair back and exposing the neck as blood poured faster and faster from his wound. The last thing Tre saw was the Officer moving his lips, mouthing the words “Run.” The beast then pulled upwards, removing the Officer’s head from its body, and with a loud thud, the Officer hit the floor, and Tre sprinted for the back door.

An unsent email, a deleted WhatsApp message, a SMS sent to an unregistered number, a neatly handwritten letter in an envelope decorated with heart stickers deposited into the opening of a paper recycling bin.

This is a collection of unsent letters - from sons and daughters, mothers and fathers, widows and soldiers, inmates and outcasts. Whether light or heavy, humourous or morose - none of them are intended to reach their recipients, for one reason or another.

Absorb the pain, The storm of rain, Transform so you're not in vain, Read psalms under the palm trees, Free alms protect from their arms of degrees, My life is controversial but not commercial, Pray for the broken and contrite, Clay ain't broken in light.

Got to keep it under me, Cause they want to see me six feet under, Not talking artillery, I'm talking auxiliary, Fix your words, They mix the words, This is a walking virtue, Unlocking the bird's view, Just know I heard you, Game winner from the same sinner.

Let your heart feel the pain, Let your heart heal the rain, We wrestle with the fallen, Blessed soul with God's calling, Vibration on biblical, Hydration is miracle, Hibernation is spiritual, Every moment is a test, Love my kindness but take it as a  minus.

I'm on God's time even in odd times, You on demon time, You still dreaming blind, Thinking everything is seeming fine, They blinking cause they steaming wine, Not in my cup, Ain't nothing made up, Foes faded up, Repentance I pray it up.

They want me penalized cause I won't be analyzed, Cooking up solutions, I'm looking up at the pollution, Weather allergic to parasites, The feather ain't magic in paradise, We don't do witchcraft, Free sun watch them switch in wrath.

Ether flowing through my spirit, The reaper knowing I don't fear it, Meaning no weapon formed shall prosper, They scheming in the storm hoping that I don't make the roster, I don't care about the monster, I don't need your sponsor.

What a blessing to be alive, I'm confessing that I survived, Looking at my heart they played it, Looking like a star the way I made it, Praying for correction and protection, They saying no connection of direction, Reaper is coming, Dreamer is summoned.

Tame the flesh, The flame is fresh, The game ain't success, Your name is the best, All glory to God, My story is heart, They ignored my start, Now they adore my part, They still acting, Today is my caption, Real love is within Real love isn't with sin.

Divine alignment, The blind assignment, Stay clear of all evil, Pray that no fear will be legal, What I mean is activity of the beast, The wicked ask for liberty from the beast, Justice shall prevail, My salvation is not for sale, God promises don't fail.

The proceeds return to the soul's seeds, Fake money. Lake of honey, Land of prosperity in love, I banned them for crossing me in blood, If you can't talk in the light then I know you walk in the night, Strength of a elephant,  What they meant is irrelevant.

Keep your enemy guessing. Keep your energy blessing, Can't put an end to me I'm confessing, She beautiful she sundressing, Repent is the holy suggestion, Money is spent but still there's that question, Honey in my tea got me investing.

I see the truth clearly, I'm in the booth yearly, Show them who I am really, Know your enemy. Know your energy, I glow cause I'm heavenly, My soul feel like I'm on seven D, Talking frequency, Walking with the free who see, Look in the mirror who do you see.

Every year is periodical. They in fear no sabbatical, Make it clear that's how the battle goes, Fake gear got them in that idol gold, We're all here it's methodical, The light is rare, The world is a nightmare, Victory is ours even if they don't fight fair.

Came from the struggle, That flame is love's gold, They knew your worth cause the truth is in the earth, No one said anything, Only Christ paid everything, See my foes tryna clip my wings, The woes of the drip is what Babylon sings, This what life brings.

The scope is on you when there's hope in you, They looking for any reason, I'm cooking in any season, Meaning ideas is flowing through, Meaning my years been growing through, Long overdue, It's been wrong cause it's past due, This time it's the last you.

Keep me as the apple of your eye, Peep the chapel of the whole sky, Same shenanigans different results, The game lied again cause we shifted the vault, Won't find me in no lodge, Won't sign me to your mirage, They want to scourge you and morgue you.

Rivers flowing in my heart, Mirrors glowing in the dark, No golden spoon, They holding the moon, Landslides and monsoon, What's coming soon, People acting like cartoon, The setup is real, The bet up is real. Free world, How about you free the world.

Universal jersey, In the rehearsal they tried to verse me, In the reversal they lied to curse me, Correction from God, Protection from God, See the threat, Now it's about thread, Remember our Saviour bled, They aiming for the head, What was said.

Strong delusion, Wrong conclusion, Be discerning, The key to this earning, Hold on to your faith, By grace we are saved, That don't mean automatic access, Get clean from that aromatic abscess, They see the glow up, They know what's up, Stay prayed up.

If I keep it G why they OD, It's deep cause I know who sold me, I know what they told me, They couldn't hold me, This ain't the old me, See the turn of event, We need to learn to repent, Don't look back at what they took back, The matrix is cracked.

Don't listen to the soothsayers, They hissing to the truth prayers, Be ye separate cause these folks is desperate, Put God first then you'll break every curse, The yoke of leftovers, I broke the health of the cobra, Wilderness, The silver's next.

In my pulse from the sun it can rain, They try to run with a false campaign, I don't lust after love, I trust every chapter of love, Life is  not a game, Life is not the same, My wife ain't for fame,  She came with her name, I won't be tamed.

Rock of Gibraltar. Walk the altar. No witchcraft. I ain't switching the path. Giving alms. Living psalms. Cast my burden. Cash is not for my learning. Still got to labor. Sealed with the vapor. See thru behind the scenes. Eat your fruit and greens.

The sun is relief for the unbelief, Basking in the light, They asking for the night, Need a flight to heaven, Every deed to be right must be unleavened, See the prognosis, Free the rock's lotus, Meaning let your heart flourish when your spirit is nourished.

I don't need no surgery, Wicked seeds tryna merge with me, The game tryna purge me, Detox from the chemicals, See the ox cause the air is gold, Look in the box where's the pharaoh's soul, Gifts are from up on high, Won't drift when the world is doomed to die.

Winner of my heart, Was a sinner at the start, Foes hate without cause, So many souls fate without the cross, I pray for light, They play in the night, The sound of love. I found the dove, It's a real affair, It's a deal they can't repair.

Birthed from the cosmos, Earth's drum is heard by the kind souls, Lot of rumors, Ox, doves and pumas, Karma hitting hard, The drama is hitting odd, They in hush mode, I won't trust the mold, The heart is the soul's key, Life's start they miss the old me.

Appreciated by the real, Officiated by the deal, Go kick rocks, They knows it's tick tock, All idols will be exposed, Her title is a rose, Major catastrophe, Pager apostrophe, Sold out by them cause we bent, Told to take a timeout cause we need to repent.

I'm holding free courses with seals, Stolen resources with deals, Meetings in the spirit, I'm deleting sins cause I'm in the spirit, Repentance when it's hard, Attendance is only God, I don't please people, Won't lease the evil, Only peace cause they illegal.

Rest in the Lord, The test is for the war, Catastrophic things happening, Apostolic brings tapping in, Heart felt, Watch they heart melt, Connect within, Disconnect with sin, Power leveling up, Every hour they deviling up, Not about race, Covered in grace.

Reading the book of Romans, Watching the devils foaming, In my darkest nights I roared, In my hardest times I soared, We all have fallen short of the glory of God, See the wrath calling this story of heart, Know that I came from the convos, Space convos.

The peace is incredible, The beast is inevitable, The streets is medical, Tryna switch roles but you can't switch souls, Clarification, Every nation, Find your purpose, You're not blind or worthless, My heart make the earth shift, Fresh start in worship.

I bring glory to my pain, No one knows the victory in my veins, If they're for me they'll be there in the rain, They can't ignore me when they see the fruit of my grain, Love will restore to the truth of my brain, I was here before the roots of my twain.

All it takes is one false move, They took my pulse and felt the proof, Now they witnessing the truth, See through them cause I walk by faith, This not a video game life can't be saved, In God's palms I'm engraved, Pay them no mind, Pray for those who blind.

Ain't bound to the rules of illuminati, I ain't bowing down to the rules of illuminati, My heart ain't violent, It start with the violin, Hear when they pray to the owl, Every year they play foul, Won't be initiated, I got love they increase the hatred.

I got to fight the cyclops, In the night I'm taking eye drops, Meaning I'm cleaning my vision, I see demons scheming cause time is glitching, The art of war, My heart gone roar, They can't face me. They don't faze me, Love is a miracle, This is all biblical.

They wanted to see the worst but are now shocked cause I put God first, They mad cause I unlocked the curse, I'm glad I knew that verse, Don't quench the soul's thirst, They threw a monkey wrench with that nurse, Convoy by the bench about the durst.

I'm from a place where my heart drum brings me grace, I don't play dumb in any space, They get numb in my face, Chewing gum with no taste, We don't copy and paste, We don't stop with the praise, My enemy trying to act braze, My energy got them in a craze.

I don't deal with no fever, The sun gone melt the reaper, Be meek as doves, Near the creek is the river of love, Luciferians running the world, The rooster of sin stunting on the world, We must apply repentance, There's nothing new we cried in remembrance.

Fresh linen, Blessed winning, Seal of God. Be real with God, Heal in the heart, They still in in the dark, I'm like a flashlight, I don't crash in the night, Told her naturally you gorgeous, I won't sell my soul actually even if they scourge us.

I can't blame the past, The game won't last, You want to do evil with no consequences, You can't taunt God and be legal in the dawn of senses, They flaunt in the heart wearing bronze lenses, I’m gon change the font so my sound dances.

The midnight dream, They closed the lid to the steam, Tap into the intuitive heart, They cap when they see sin ain't true in my heart, Love's presence is a blessing, Treat others with respect, Ain't sweet when a soul feels neglect, Sip tea with no regret.

The World in terror cause they read the Word in error, God's love is forever, My heart is loyal in any weather, Be the best or even better, I'm on mvp mode, I know the r.i.p. code, My glow got me on the v.i.p. road, This how you feel when you real.

Rain season, Pain is the reason, Fight the battles, Be a light to the shadows, Man can't make you equal, The plan they take is illegal, I'm trying to be exclusive not inclusive, Meaning it's Jesus, Tried to deceive us, They scheming cause God received us.

Hallowed be thy name, You can't swallow up no flame, Tomorrow ain't no game, They tried to tarnish my name, I pay homage to his name, Jesus Christ is the one who came, Tryna sacrifice me for fame, See the war when the arrow rise what a shame, We all the same.

Drafted sin automatic, Crafted cinematic, Keep on shining, It's deep in the finding, Hallowed be thy name, They follow my flame, Afraid to come near, They degrade you when they fear, What's up with thanks, It's made up in the banks, Prayed up in the ranks.

The rust of the skies, The lust of the eyes, Can't trust the wise, Only God knows the truth, It gets hard when life can't be soothed, It's odd but the peace is smooth, Been through a lot, Hatred can make the heart rot, Biblical verses makes my fire hot.

Now that I'm extra fresher, They bringing extra pressure, Doves singing your heart is treasure, Done with these fake lectures, The sun making sweet nectars, Kiwi flow, We will know. Willow glow, Widow snow. Energy ether, Enemy feature.

The following poem is about a couple who has fallen ill in their apartment complex bedroom. They must remain in bed while life goes on around them as they desire intimacy again.

A couple in their mid 30s finds the perfect new apartment. Their relocation will unravel a tangled web of ancient magic and profound mysteries.

I'm using this as a setting for a daily writing exercise. Everything is a work in progress, title included. It might go somewhere or it might crash and burn :D
