I hate that I loved you

I hate how clearly I remember everything

Even though the last time I saw you was five years ago.

I hate that I let you touch me.

I hate the lessons you taught me,

I hate that I still believe them.

I hate the months I remember,

And I treasure the months I don’t.

I hate you C.W. But I still love you.

I hate that I can’t forget.

I hate that I haven’t seen you since fourth grade,

But I’m also glad that I haven’t.
